Professor Scott Sorensen
Scott Sorensen is the Program Coordinator for the Distance Education MSW Program for the College of Social Work at the University of Utah. In the program he teaches courses ranging from clinical practice to administration, all with a focus on rural communities. His specialty is child welfare issues. He currently serves as the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Children’s Justice Center of Iron County, as Chair of Utah’s Child Abuse and Neglect Advisory Council, and as Treasurer of the Board of the National Alliance of Children’s Trust and Prevention Funds.
