Facilities

Our facilities are open from 8:30 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. We are located in the Hunter Conference Center offices.

Equipment & Software

The IMIC has a quaint but well equipped location that is available for faculty to come and develop instructional materials and media for courses. We have computer station with peripherals and software that is used for development. Or if you have a laptop we are fully set up in the HCC for wireless connectivity; creating the opportunity of spacious and mostly quiet couches and comfy chairs to be an ideal location to develop courses.

  • Adobe Creative Suite [Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign, Acrobat, etc. ]
  • Adobe Connect Pro [IP video conferencing]
  • Adobe Captivate
  • Adobe Presenter (Make your Powerpoint dynamic)
  • MSOffice 2007 [Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, etc.]
  • OmniPage [convert your printed documents into a editable Word.doc]
  • Inspiration
  • SnagIt
  • Camatasia Studio
  • Audacity [audio editor]
  • Audio capture software
  • etc.

Other Services

We also have the ability to capture and format the analog media into a digital copy from the following:

  • audio from LP/Cassette
  • VHS/DVD video

We also can digitally scan small collections of 35mm negatives and slides. (In JPG, PSD, and other formats.)

Keep in mind we follow all copyright laws regarding materials and media converted into current formats for use of educational and archiving purposes.
