Instructions on setting up your SUU email account on the K9 Mail app for the Android OS

1. Hit next on the initial setup screen after entering K9 mail app.

2. Enter email address in the first field followed by your email password in the second field. Hit next.

3. Select IMAP

4. Enter username in username field (not username@suu.edu) In IMAP server field enter gwise.suu.edu Under Security Type select SSL (always). Leave everything else as default. Hit next.

5. In SMTP server field enter smtp.suu.edu Under Security Type select SSL (always). Leave everything else as default. Hit next.

6. You can leave Account Options page as default or you can change any selections you wish. Hit next.

7. On this page enter an account name, something that identifies the mail account to you more easily, such as SUU. Enter your first and last name in the next field. This field is what allows people to see who the mail is coming from. Hit next.

8. Setup is now complete. Select the mail account on this page to see your email.
