Student Wired Network Access
Students who want to access the Internet on campus with their own notebooks or handhelds can connect using wired ports available in the Library on the 2nd floor. The data jacks are on the southwest and southeast walls. Network connections are also available on the columns in the rotunda area of the Sharwan Smith Center. The data jacks are colored black and labeled data. You will need a network adapter and a standard RJ-45 Ethernet network cable. A telephone cable will not work. Many of the latest notebooks have a network adapter built in. Check your documentation. Follow the vendor's instructions to install your adapter card.
