Setting a Background Image or Color:
  • Click on the Format menu, then select "Background"
  • If you want a picture, check the small box next to the text
that says "Background Picture" - Use the browse button
to find the picture you want. The picture should be in the
same folder as your page or a specifically defined images
    folder for the web.
  • If you want a specific background color, look at the bottom
of the dialog box and you should see a few different things you can change the color. Click on the drop down box by the text that says "Background" then select your color. If you don't like the color choices it gives you, you can click on more colors and this will bring up a palette of the 216 web-safe colors.
  • Most pages that represent academic or administrative areas of SUU should have a white background with no background image. Please refer to the Style Guide for questions about this.
