Setting the Title:

Notice at the top of your web browser how it states the title of a page? This is the title that is saved when somebody bookmarks your page and when it appears in search engines. If you leave it blank, it will appear as "Untitled Document". Not very helpful, is it? This is a very important detail that you should not forget to update. Here's how to do it:

  • Right-click in the main work area
  • This will bring up a small menu. You need to select Page Properties.
  • Once the dialog box pops up, you can change the title of the page in the "Title" field.
  • The naming convention for all SUU pages is:
            SUU - "Department Name" or
SUU - "Department Name: Description of Page Content"
example: SUU - Academics: General Education Requirements
