Style Guide - Student Clubs & Organizations

Student Clubs & Organizations may have a website on the SUU server if they are chartered with SUUSA or affiliated with an academic department. Web Services does not create and maintain these sites. Clubs are responsible for finding their own webmaster. To get space on the SUU web server, clubs must submit a completed request form. Web Services will process the request and give server access information to the club webmaster. Clubs must renew their website each year, otherwise they will be deleted. A renewal reminder is sent to the Clubs & Student Involvement Vice-President and advisors each fall.

Clubs can have any look they wish, but they do need to follow a couple of guidelines:

1. Title

Every page must have a title within the HTML title tags. The page must begin with "SUU - " and be followed by a content appropriate title, similiar to the following examples:

1. SUU - Chess Club
2. SUU - Chess Club: Calendar

2. SUU Logo and Disclaimer

The home page must have the SUU Clubs & Orgs logo, which links to the SUU home page, and a link to the Clubs & Orgs disclaimer, by using the following code:

<!--#INCLUDE file="/includes/clubs.inc"-->

This image/link can appear anywhere on the home page.
