Every year, the NEA offers two unique opportunities for NEA members to attend an all-expenses paid internship during the summer. Each program prepares participants to actively seekemployment as a UniServ Director, supporting and advocating for members in the states. Although both programs have their own unique characteristics, they share the following eligibility requirements:

Those applicants who are chosen to participate in either program (through a rigorous interview process) and successfully complete their summer internship are strongly encouraged to begin actively looking for UniServ work, understanding that many opportunities may be found outside of their current state.
