"As an intern in my office, you will have the opportunity to see first-hand the workings of a congressional office and observe the political process in action. Responsibilities include: attending Senate hearings; assisting legislative assistants with research on specific projects; responding to constituent mail; and tracking legislation. You will also help sort mail, meet and greet constituents, answer telephones and work on other projects as needed.
