Dillon Rosdahl is a Senior English, Literature major and is currently enrolled in his last semester at Southern Utah University. He grew up in the suburbs of San Francisco, California and has since enjoyed his transition to Utah.
As a former Student Director, Dillon has been fortunate to be involved with the Leavitt Center for more than a year and a half. Before coming on as the Student Director he was fortunate to participate in the political process first-hand as an intern in Washington, D.C. with Senator Orrin G. Hatch. Working with Senator Hatch’s judicial council gave Dillon a unique perspective on the process of legislation and stirred his interest in becoming more involved with the Leavitt Center.
Following his internship he worked at a legal non-profit in Washington, and then returned to Cedar to serve as the Student Director for the 2012-2013 school year. Dillon also served as the Deputy Manager for a presidential campaign in the fall of 2012 and led out a group of 75+ volunteers.
This past summer Dillon completed an internship in financial services, and hopes to pursue a career in the financial industry following graduation. He currently serves as the president of Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Society. Dillon also serves as the SUUSA English Department Representative, sits on the University of Student Discipline Council, and will be working at the SUU Writing Center this fall.
