Executive Council

Wade Hess

Wade is a junior biology major who plans to attend veterinary school after graduation. He was raised on a dairy farm in Fielding, Utah where he learned to work hard and stay busy. Because of his interest in politics and current events, he is excited to be a member of the Executive Council this year.

Wade was first a student at SUU in 2009, then took a two year break to serve an LDS mission in Bangkok, Thailand. In the two years before and since his mission, he has been heavily involved with several campus organizations and programs including the LDS Institute Executive Council, the Community Engagement Center, Rural Health Scholars, the SUU Honors Program, and the University Journal.

Wade currently works as a youth mentor for Sunrise RTC, a residential treatment center for troubled teenage girls, and in his free time, enjoys running, water sports, and hiking.
