Meeting Minutes |

We welcomed new club members. Craig Randall reminded club members to make sure that he had their correct email addresses.
Craig announced that this semester the club will only be having a ‘meeting/meeting’ once a month. It was decided that these meetings would occur on the first Wed. of every month. In addition to these meetings we will arrange at least one fieldtrip or other activity a month. These ‘non-meeting’ activities will typically occur on Saturdays. Our first fieldtrip, possibly to visit a Buddhist or Sikh temple in either SLC or Vegas, is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23rd. Contact Craig Randall for more details.
Amber Jacobsen informed us about the status of the Anthro. club’s service project which is raising money for Heifer International (see ‘Related Links’ and ‘Committees and Projects’ pages for more information). The club plans on hosting a music- café night to raise money for Heifer International. The local musician Steven Swift has agreed to perform at this benefit event and Starbuck’s is donating hot drinks. We will also be offering desserts and auctioning off items donated by local businesses and artists. If you are interested in helping pull this event together, please contact Amber Jacobsen . The event is planned for the evening of Friday, Feb. 19th, 2010.
