Vision- What we would like to see God do at SUU:
  • Lost students are being transformed by the gospel of Christ (Colossians 1:13-14). We dream of the day where every student on campus has heard of CCF. Everyone has had a chance on campus to hear the Word of the Lord.

  • Where Christians are being transformed in 'grace and truth relationships' (Ephesians 4). We hope for Christians to grow spiritually and truly know what they believe in while in college.  Spiritually growing.

  • Where the campus and world are being transformed by laborers who are sent (Matt. 9:37-39). To outreach, outreach, and more outreach. Look for opportunities to share your faith (class, roommates, random
    people).

  • Also to start up small groups and from there start other small groups. Truly trying to reach our campus to further the kingdom of God!
 Acts 2:42-47 describes the first transformational community
 Everyone felt a sense of awe because they saw God at work
 Believers were devoted to biblical teaching, prayer, and real koininia (fellowship)
 And God was adding to their number daily those who were being saved
    * How awesome would that be if our campus was more like the first
    transformational community.

Turning lost students into Christ-centered laborers.
    (Matthew 28:18-20; Matthew 9:36-38)
    What does that mean?
 Taking the initiative to share our faith so that every student on campus can hear the gospel in an attractive, meaningful manner
    (Colossians 1:28; Romans 10:13-14)
 Offering a place where Christian students can connect with other Christian students and grow in their faith (Ephesians 2:10; 2 Timothy 2:2)
 Equipping students to walk with God for a lifetime and have an impact for Christ on the campus and the world (2 Corinthians 5:14-15; Revelation 5:9; Romans 12:1-2; Matthew 24:14)

and in purity
Developing a Vision for SUU Movement
1. After spending a significant amount of time in prayer and the Word, what are your ideas for the campus two to four years from now?

2. What specific scriptures are you praying about for the campus? Write out each verse or passage.

3. What would your campus look like when these promises are fulfilled (i.e., the spiritual responsiveness of non-believers, the spiritual walk of believers, the spiritual tone of the campus, the character, vision, and biblical convictions of Christian students, etc.)?

4. What vision and promises is the Lord giving you concerning the kind of person you'll become in order to see your vision fulfilled?

5. What is God showing you regarding the spiritual health and training of your student leaders?

6. Since small plans don't inflame the minds of men, what faith stretching events can you do in the next two to four years to fulfill your vision?

7. In light of the vision God has given you for the next two to four years, what is He showing you to do or become this year?

8. What prayer requests do you have for other students and yourself in
light of your vision?

9. Summarize the overall campus vision. Present it to your student
leaders. Help them see your heart for them and your enthusiasm for doing His
will.
