When SUU Art Education students travel into Iron County schools, their enthusiasm inspires youngsters to create a color retrospective inspired by local life. These young artists’ creativity will be showcased in the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery in The 6-Inch Art Show which runs May 12-22, 2012. The gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 7pm. Into the Woods: A Painted Diary of the Dixie National Forest by Arlene Braithwaite

Southern Utah University and the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery celebrate the artistry of Arlene Braithwaite with a special exhibition highlighting twenty works of art depicting stunning landscapes within the Dixie National Forest. This exhibition marks the opening of a new campus exhibition space in the Hunter Conference Center. For additional information, please see the press release.

The exhibit is free and open to the public Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
The Braithwaite Gallery offers the campus and community an exceptional venue for well known internationally touring exhibitions as well as work by our students, faculty, and artists of Utah.
Gallery Hours:
June - August
Monday - Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
and
September - May
Tuesday - Saturday, noon to 7 p.m.
Located on the ground floor in the Braithwaite Liberal Arts Center building on the east end of the beautiful SUU campus. Free Admission.
