Welcome to the Arts Administration - Master of Fine Arts Homepage. In the graduate Arts Administration program, we invite students to learn the skills that help them “Make Art Happen!” Arts administrators blend a love of the arts with the professional business skills necessary to promote, maintain, and fund arts organizations. This two year, year-round program teaches students to develop the skills of strategic planning, marketing, fundraising, budgeting/finance, advocacy, education, program development and community relations. Arts Administration students work alongside arts management professionals in the AA affiliates: the Utah Shakespearean Festival, the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery and the College of Performing and Visual Arts. The unique blend of classroom involvement and hands-on practical experience propels students into the Arts Administration job market that is desperately seeking trained arts managers.
