Printmaker Stefanie Dykes Presents at Art Insights

(Southern Utah University, Cedar City, Utah)  The SUU Department of Art and Design will feature Stefanie Dykes in this week’s Art Insights, Thursday, February 28th at 7:00 p.m. in the J.L. Sorenson P.E. Building, Room 101.  Dykes, a printmaker and co-founder of Saltgrass Printmakers, will present on her work and how printmakers are collaborative artists in the studio.

Stefanie Dykes studied printmaking at the University of Utah where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2003. In 2004 she co-founded Saltgrass Printmakers, a not-for-profit printmaking studio in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Her work has been exhibited internationally.

Art Insights is a weekly program hosted during the Fall and Spring semesters by the Art and Design faculty.  In Art Insights students and community members meet weekly to attend gallery openings and experience presentations and discussions by visiting artists and art educators from around the nation who share their work and insights.

Admission is free, and the general public is invited to attend.
