Mission Statement
Southern Utah Museum of Art is a student-centered experiential learning environment that collects, preserves and exhibits art significant to the interior American West. Special exhibits feature major artistic styles and periods of world cultures.
Vision Statement
SUMA will become the first nationally accredited art museum operated by graduate and undergraduate students in a shared research, learning and applied environment mentored by the faculty, administration and staff of Southern Utah University.
