Mission

Develop a state and regional community of students and mentors dedicated to inquiry and balanced decision making processes based on an experiential science program that integrates the resources of southern Utah.

Guidelines

  • An environmental education experience that is relevant to the student's immediate surroundings.
  • Evidence is clearly indicated of community and other resource support beyond the classroom.
  • Knowledge is gained through broad based and experiential processes.
  • Curriculum is supported by scientific inquiry and discovery learning.
  • Content is studied in an integrated interdisciplinary approach.
  • Develop and apply critical and creative thinking skills.
