Mission
Develop a state and regional community of students and mentors dedicated to inquiry and balanced decision making processes based on an experiential science program that integrates the resources of southern Utah.
Guidelines
- An environmental education experience that is relevant to the student's immediate surroundings.
- Evidence is clearly indicated of community and other resource support beyond the classroom.
- Knowledge is gained through broad based and experiential processes.
- Curriculum is supported by scientific inquiry and discovery learning.
- Content is studied in an integrated interdisciplinary approach.
- Develop and apply critical and creative thinking skills.
