Admissions Update --- Competitive Admissions

Out of 100 applicants 20 students were selected to start Fall 2008.  The Nursing Department is currently taking applications for pre-licensure students who are prepared to start spring semester 2009.  This is a competitive admission based on:  Cumulative GPA, Required Support Course GPA,  Work/School History, Essay, and References.  LPN's will apply with the Pre-licensure students and will be evaluated on the same criteria.  Twenty students will be admitted spring semester.  Applications for Spring 2009 must be received in the nursing office no later than September 26, 2008.  Applications received after this date regardless of the postmark will not be accepted.  Applicants will be notified by mail of the Admissions and Advancement Committee's decision.  All decisions by the committee are final and may not be appealed.

RN to BSN students applying for a May 2009 position must submit their applications to the nursing office no later than January 9, 2009.  Applications received after this date regardless of the postmark will not be accepted.
