"Challenging People to Challenge Themselves."
- Goals & Expectations - Waiver Agreement - Course Registration - Course Evaluation - Employment Application
Important Information
Dear Participants,

We look forward to getting to know your group. Here are some things to consider while preparing for the course:

There is a good possibility you will get dirty during the day. Please wear clothing and shoes that you will not mind “scuffing” up a bit. Comfortable closed-toed shoes are required on the course. Absolutely no sandals or flip-flops will be allowed. Tennis shoes are best. During rainy or wet days, we generally continue on and only take shelter during severe weather, such as thunderstorms.

Jewelry, watches, glasses, etc. should be kept at home or in your car. Alcohol and drugs are prohibited on the SUU Challenge Course. Anyone found in violation of this rule will be subjected to the consequences stated in the Southern Utah University drug and alcohol policy.

Any participants under the age of 18 years old must have adult chaperones (1 per every 10 students.) If you have any physical conditions that may limit your abilities, please inform us and note it on the waiver so we may assist you in performing activities safely. The activities are designed to be played by those of varying levels of physical fitness, and our qualified staff will assist you in taking the step in growth and learning.

Please print copies of the liability waiver, one per participant, read it carefully and sign it. Bring the signed waiver(s) with you when you come to participate in the course. Anyone without a signed waiver will not be allowed to participate. Waivers for participants under the age of 18 years old must be signed by their parent/guardian. Teachers, advisors or anyone other than the juvenile’s parent/guardian cannot sign the waiver.

You must pay for your participation before coming to the course. Please bring payment to Lauri Lamb in the Hunter Conference Center room 103. You can contact Lauri at 865-8219 to make arrangements. We are unable to take your money at the course.
A facilitator of the course will be contacting you 3-5 days prior to your scheduled reservation, to confirm your event. A final participant count must be given at this time. Please note: You will be charged for your final guaranteed number, or your actual attendance, whichever is greater. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 24 hours before your scheduled event.

What to do before coming to the course:
  • Print a copy of the liability waiver for each participant
  • Read the waiver carefully and sign
  • Make arrangements for payment, prior to coming to the course.
  • Make sure to bring the signed waiver(s) with you to the course.

*In addition to downloading these forms you may submit them directly to us via the internet
