"By serving the surrounding communities, we offer courses of interest to the public." |
About Us: "Community Ed– Offering
courses to quench your curiosity and open your options."
Whether you’re a resident of Parowan or you live just up the street, Community Ed is committed to expanding the educational experience. Through Continuing Education you can engage your interests in Arabic, Kenpo karate, Russian culture and cuisine, native plant landscaping, guitar, night club swing dancing or yoga, just to name a few. Community Ed was created to serve the surrounding communities in the region, including SUU students, faculty and alumni. Everyone is invited to experience Community Ed. The classes are facilitated through the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at SUU. There are summer programs like Kid’s College, which was designed to give youth a taste of various subjects. Evening and Saturday classes are perfect to supplement a career or busy schedule. Registrations for fall credit and non-credit courses are now open through this Web site or by contacting Jane Comp through e-mail at comp@suu.edu or by telephone at 435.865.8196 or 1.888.874.2202. |
