Whiting
Room - Hunter Conference Center
 The
Whiting Room is located on the second floor in the Hunter Conference Center,
and the tall windows in this room present dramatic views of the groves
of spruce and pine trees on the upper campus with the beautiful red mountains
of southern Utah as a backdrop. One wall is cork covered with fabric and
suitable for hanging papers, posters, etc. A grand piano adds to the beauty
of this beautiful room and makes a perfect setting for banquets and receptions
while still being suitable for a meeting’s requirements. A 12-foot
wide screen drops from the ceiling at one end of the room to be used with
audiovisual equipment. The sound system is similar to the Great Hall in
that it provides full coverage with connections to meet all types of applications
and use with multimedia projectors with computer, DVD players, and VCRs..
This room has wirelss internet access plus a phone jack, if needed. Live, interactive connections for teleconferencing can be arranged
in the Whiting Room as well as other rooms in the Conference Center. Risers
can also be set up in this room for presenters, and a whiteboard is available
to be brought into the Whiting Room.
