Non-Resident Students taking SUU courses:
Here is the outline of the registration process through our continuing education department, School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS)-

1. Admissions\Registration steps:
Contact Martha Minnick regarding the Registration Process at: 435.865.8085 or minnick@suu.edu. When the Admission/Registration form is filled out and printed, it needs to be faxed. The fax number is 435-865-8087. You will be billed $35 for a one time admission fee and the appropriate amount for course fee. If you pay by credit card, you will need to enter you credit card number.

2. The courses at SUU that we anticipate that some students may need are the following courses and numbers:
  • Chem 1110 (equivalent to USD Chem 106) 3 credits AND Chem 1130 (equivalent to USD Chem 106 lab) 1 credit –sign up for both together
  • Biol 2110 (3 credits) AND Biol 2120 (1 credit lab) (equivalent to USD Microbiology 230– sign up for both together
  • Comm 1010 (1 credit); AND Comm 1011 (2 credits) (equivalent to USD Speech 101 – sign up for both together
  • PSY 1010 General Psychology (3 credits) (equivalent to USD General Psychology 101.
Books
  For Chemistry
Go to the bookstore: http://www.earlycollegeadvantage.com/Bookstore/storefront.htm. Click on your course, for example: CHEM 1110/1130. This is the information you require to purchase the texts and materials.
  For all other courses
Go to the bookstore: http://online.bookstore.suu.edu/wm_titl_lst.htm. This is the information for all other texts.

  For all other courses
To check if course information is correct a student may check by logging in. If you need any help, for example, getting your username and password, you can contact IMI Helpdesk (435)586-1994 (available from 8 am-5 pm, MST, every weekday) or at imic@suu.edu.
