This explains the growing pains and the "raising the bar" in quality and service for SUU's Online Campus courses offered through Distance Ed. He is most famous for his key role in making SUU the leading pioneer in the application of Adobe Connect Pro [ formerly Marcomedia Breeze ](H.323/IP Video) - so that global students can synchronously attend SUU courses via the internet. He has been recognized as an innovator and contributor towards the future of higher education. He has had many presentations and demonstrations across the world concerning his experience and application of IP Video into the overall mindset of "Why go to college when it can come to you." Ean escaped the Idaho State University campus in 2003. His last role was Lead Web Architect/ Project Consultant [Production Administration] for the Digital Atlas of Idaho. The Atlas is a 7,000 page website containing Idaho's natural history (an university grant project). Ean has over eight years experience in the Instructional Technology field. Working at SUU since late 2003and the rest at ISU's Instructional Technology Resource Center (ITRC). Prior to that, five years was working as a drone for a national financial corporation. During the decade of air inhalation, several small freelance projects were accomplished. Other titles known as: Web Architect, Instructional Technologist, Web Production Artist, Web Site Designer, Creative Director, Digital Artist, Graphic Designer and Illustrator. Ean has B. A. in Art, with a background in Graphic Design/Advertising and Public Relations. Currently, is working on a brain soaking M.A. in Communications. |

At the IMIC, she supports faculty and staff with WebCT and eLearning as well as working on other projects. She moved around a lot when she was younger, but has lived in Utah since she was 9. She moved to Cedar City to attend SUU. In her spare time (which she has a bit more of now) she enjoys writing short fiction stories, reading, watching movies or TV and hanging out with her friends and family, among other hobbies. |
