 Faculty Support, Training, & Workshops:
migration info

Support::

Our mission is to support all faculty in the creation and development of courses using instructional technologies. Faculty needing support and assistance are encouraged to contact us either by email, phone or face to face. Our contact information is listed below.

Training::

We are here to train faculty in use of instructional technologies for courses taught here at SUU. We are available to train from large groups to individuals needing one to one support. We can train faculty at our facilities, faculty offices, or even via SUU's Connect Pro system [internet video conferencing]. For faculty needing after hours support, we have created the Info Depot as an index of tutorials and handouts.

Scheduled Workshops::

If a Department or College needs a group of faculty to "learn as they go" or specific instructional technology workshop, we can make arrangements and facilitate the needs of course development.

'Revolving Door' Workshops::

On occasion we offer a "revolving door workshop" for faculty needing assistance that cannot make the prescheduled training/workshops. These usually run from 9 am to 4:30 pm for a couple of days. When we offer these, faculty should recieve an e-mail for the event. We also have facilities here at HCC 103N where faculty can come in and work on their courses during business hours.

Please contact us for your individual or group needs in course and learning object development.
