Activities you have been involved with at SUU: Teacher’s Aide; Water Lab; Chemistry Club; Awarded the Southern Utah University 2003 Board of Trustees Scholarship, the most prestigious scholarship offered on campus; Enthusiastic interest in the medicinal aspects of the biochemistry research arena; Married, has a young daughter and holds three jobs, all while maintaining a 3.86 GPA. "I feel like one of my greatest accomplishments was my completion—with flying colors- of one of the notoriously toughest classes on campus—Professor Ty Redd’s Organic Chemistry course. "

Why You Chose SUU: Small class sizes. One-on-one time with professors. High-quality classes that I need to go onto grad school.

Favorite thing about SUU: Location—close to a lot of activities.

Favorite thing to do in Cedar City: Play with daughter and wife at the many beautiful parks
