Favorite thing about SUU: The chance to get to know students on a personal basis. I was sad this year when some of my students graduated. I thought, “Wow, I'm really going to miss them.”
Favorite thing to do in Cedar City: Spend time with family. My three-year-old son and I like to wrestle and play trucks-and-tractors.
Why You Chose to teach at SUU: I think SUU is a particularly good school at which to teach, and to attend. I teach, and I'm able to have ‘a life’ too. The philosophy upon which SUU operates promotes balance for both faculty and students. It focuses on students and their needs while also offering appropriate support to faculty for their endeavors. At this University, we can teach, learn, give service, progress & advance, and also conduct our personal lives to the fullest as well.
"Bright students, beautiful scenery and a stimulating environment -- what's not to love about SUU?"
