Nick Bradford - 8/1/2007 (10:10:42 AM)
What's up GHA!!! It's good to see everybody--well see everybody in cyber-spirit anyway. I really must have missed out on the Abe Lincoln joke at GHA--because I'm lost. I know it has something to do with the honorable Dr. Stu, but does anybody want to fill me in? What's up Brad G.! Have you done any crazy stuff this Summer? Oh, a polite warning to everybody, DO NOT GET INVOLVED in George, Cameron, and Stuart's "little" discussion on time-travel and the space continuum. I've never seen brain cells drop quite as fast as dead flys before!!! ha, ha Good times.

Tarl - 8/1/2007 (3:26:59 PM)
Hey is there any way to E-mail your paper?

Angie Edwards - 8/1/2007 (7:27:02 PM)
Hey Nick! the whole little Abe Lincoln thing, yeah you're right it is from Stu. But anyway it's something like anytime there's an awkward moment of silence someone's thinkin of Abe Lincoln. So yeah now everytime it's quiet you know what to think about!!! Haha! GHA ROCKS!!! I love you all!

Angie Edwards - 8/1/2007 (7:28:29 PM)
Oh Tarl i don't think you can e-mail your paper! Sorry! But I am not 100% positive on that. I bet you could talk to Quinn about it though...if you can get a hold of him:)

Natalie Hatch - 8/1/2007 (9:42:31 PM)
Hey Brad, good to know you're alive. I hope you can email your paper, because that's what I did. I just sent it as an attachment on an email. Way to be a thinker Hether!! I hope I can make it!! I love you all!!

George - 8/2/2007 (10:05:55 AM)
Don't listen to Nick. Brain cells did not drop as fast as dead flies during our conversation. In fact, it is kind of enlightening (wink wink, nod nod. Watch Mobsters and Mormons if you didn't get this part.)

Stuart Clements - 8/2/2007 (11:48:00 AM)
Hey all of you! Nick, I can't believe you think we lose brain cells while talking about the time-space continuum. And the time space continuum isn't that confusing. It was all based on the idea that by reversing the nature of the universe with black matter, you could recreate yourself in the fourth dimension, bend imaginary points together, and travel any distance and to any point in time because the imaginary points can exist anywhere at any point in time. The theory came from the idea that the location of electrons cannot be predicted exactly, and they "Teleport" from one side of the atom to another. Also, the shadow of the fourth dimension id on a basis of triangles, of which we decided that one point of the triangle was your present location, one was a point in time, and one is the location you intend to "teleport" to. I have since updated this theory to a more advanced version, but there is your introduction. Now, if I haven't fried all of your brains, you can join the conversation. We could use some input to refine our theory. 1...2...5! Abe Lincoln!

Audrey Call - 8/2/2007 (12:00:00 PM)
Stuart... my brain is FRIED! I got half way through that blog and I lost the ability to think for a shile there.

Nick Bradford - 8/2/2007 (12:13:46 PM)
Told you so. ;)

Stuart Clements - 8/2/2007 (1:10:55 PM)
Well, we did have this discussion at like midnight, so it's little wonder that it's confusing. Hey Nick, you should join the conversation. It is so worth it. I plan on being a writer, not a scientist, so maybe you could take the credit for some amazing theory we come up with. Then I could call you Dr. Nick! Also, for all of you who didn't notice, my email adress changed from what it was on the GHA sheet. It is now kendiane@quickutah.com Anyway... anyone who feels as crazy as I do can join the conversation of the time-space continuum. Hopefully I will see some of you this Saturday in Taylorsville! I love you all!

Heather Sundblom - 8/2/2007 (2:31:47 PM)
AH! The space continuum thing just confuses me. I actually read the whole entire thing about it, but you lost me about the second or third word! Anyway, I hope to see you all! I miss you tons!

Wendy - 8/3/2007 (8:08:43 AM)
haha....I haven't checked this for a week and I feel way lost without all space continuum thingy, j/k. So pretty much I have the best counselor, Lindsay! She called to check up me to make sure I had sent in my essay, ya she's pretty much the coolest! Mucho love Lindsay, and for the rest of you too!!

Liz Day - 8/3/2007 (9:40:09 AM)
Mistake #1) Having the time/space continuum talk with george and stu at gha. Mistake #2) Thinking Nick was just trying to be funny when he warned us not to get involved--even though I had experienced the same sensation of losing brain cells previously. Mistake #3) Reading Stu's post thinking it would be light reading. My bad.

Julie Montoya - 8/3/2007 (10:29:30 AM)
Stuart, how do you plan to reverse the nature of the universe with black matter?

Bradley G - 8/3/2007 (11:09:00 AM)
Ohhh man! Heather, i can't come to the pre-gathering thing today.... I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled in 2 hours....Has anyone hed their wisdom teeth pulled? if so DOES IT HURT?!

Bradley G - 8/3/2007 (11:17:01 AM)
P.S. The pictures on the 2007 GHA (before you click on the blog icon) are totally cool! I'm in some of them! *sniff* I'm so happy! (runs out the room crying while the dog is barking at the doorbell.)

Stuart Clements - 8/3/2007 (3:19:03 PM)
Well, I did some more research on the time-space continuum. I read a book called A Briefer History of Time by Stephen Hawking. It is an updated version of his previous book, A Brief History of Time. It explains what George, Cameron, and the rest of us were trying to figure out. It states that to teleport, there are lines called geodesics that are fourth dimensional lines that are shorter than the shortest third-dimensional line between two points. It's kinda like an airplane flight schedule that is plotted out on a map. If you take a look at it, the flight plan is not a straight line. The same principle applies for the comparison of the fourth dimension to the third, allowing instantaneous travel between two points. Also, to answer your question about reversing the nature of the universe Julie, I actually discovered that it is done with antiparticles. The second law of thermodynamics is the law of entropy, which says that the disorder of the universe is always increasing. A point must be made, however, stating that there are antiparticles that are exactly reversed replicas of the particles that make us up. If an antiparticle were to come in contact with its particle counterpart, they annihilate each other. I know this disobeys the law of conservation of mass, but it happens. The reason this applies to teleportation, and furthermore, time travel, is that to teleport, you must travel along a geodesic in the fourth dimension. By entering the fourth dimension, however, you actually push the particles that you are made of back in time, while at the same time, an antiparticle doppelganger, or double version of you is traveling forward in time. This allows you not only to time travel, but also to enter into fourth dimension wormholes in order to teleport. Hopes this answers all of your questions! Or at least, blown your mind beyond all reason. If it has done the latter, go read A Briefer History of Time by Stephen Hawking. It is a fantastic book if you have time to read it. Well, have fun!

Stuart Clements - 8/3/2007 (3:24:13 PM)
P.S. If anyone is going to the get-together in Taylorsville, I need a ride so that I can go. If any of you are available to take me, I would love you forever if I could get a ride. I love you forever anyway, but... I NEED A RIDE SO I CAN SEE ALL OF YOU! I love all of you wonderful people, and if I can hitch a ride, let me know. My cell number is 801-592-2829. See all of you later! Squirrels R AWESOME!!!

Nick Bradford - 8/3/2007 (4:01:18 PM)
Good news Stuart!!! Steven Spielberg is making a biography of *Abe Lincoln* starring Liam Neeson set to show in late 2008. Also Disney is making a National Treasure II with a plot set around Lincoln's assasination for this fall. Is it fate, or does Stuart have more ties to Hollywood than we know . . . Also I am super-stoked for the release of Bourne Ultimatum, whenever that is. Hoorah for action movies--sorry girls, sometimes chic-flics just don't quite cut it for me!!! Word up and peace out.

Stuart Clements - 8/3/2007 (4:45:27 PM)
Very nice Nick! I loke this idea of connections to Hollywood! I already have connections to the head of Disney Pixar, but Hollywood is an entirely different story. Chic-flics are good for the soul Nick. Get used to the idea, because you will probably end up married to a woman who won't watch action movies, and you will watch chic-flics ALL DAY! Anyway, I thought it might be good to add that I live in Orem if anyone can pick me up for the get-together tomorrow @ 5. Also, speaking of new things coming out soon, the next book in the twilight series,"Eclipse" comes out soon! It is going to be AMAZING! If any of you have not read twilight or New Moon, I highly suggest you do! Hooray for vampires! Vampiric SQUIRRELS are BETTER!

Nick Bradford - 8/3/2007 (7:04:16 PM)
Not that Stuart and I are monopolizing this webpage *hint, hint*, seeing as how we've already pracitcally written several essays on it about the time-space continuum *BIG hint.* It's true though Stu, Vampiric Squirrels are better. I've heard about this Twilight series of books--is it pretty good, opinions anybody? Also, all that stuff about chic-flics--it was in jest. Pride and Prejudice was pretty darn good, and Sense and Sensibility was ok. The Bourne series is still AWESOME . . .

Mike Munson - 8/3/2007 (7:30:21 PM)
Sweet Bradley! I just got back from St. George where I got my wisdom teeth pulled. Is it hard for you to talk? Cause people keep giving me the strangest looks. Anyhow sweet deal Stu you are an interesting kid well hi and bye everyone.

Wendy - 8/3/2007 (11:28:23 PM)
Nick I just want to tell you that the Bourne Ultimatum was AWESOME!!!! I LOVED it...and the ending is pretty sweet so be ready! And Stuart, not ALL girls watch chick flicks, I myself love a good James Bond, or another action packed movie : )....but of course, chick flicks are good for the soul so a happy medium would be fantastic,

Stuart Clements - 8/4/2007 (4:44:11 PM)
I agree that not all girls like chic-flics, but I must say that action is so much better. I was just trying to say that guys need to watch chic-flics rather than limiting themselves to Mission Impossible and James Bond, even though they are good. Anyway... I'm stranded at home and can't go to Taylorsville for the get-together because I don't have a ride. Sad day :( I hope all of you who went are having a good time. Live life hysterically and at the top of your lungs. -Ray Bradbury And Nick, I haven't seen the Bourne series. Is it any good? I hadn't even heard about it until you mentioned it. And I've decided that chic-flics should be officially renamed Squirrel-flics. Abe Lincoln rules the time-space continuum!

Brianne Mauhar - 8/4/2007 (7:13:45 PM)
To all of those who haven't read the twilight series, I seriously suggest you do. I love it, and I can't wait to go buy the book this wednesday. Except where I'm at in Michigan has a little book store! I hope they sell it or I'll die. Stuart, I totally would have given you a ride if I was home and able to go myself. However, it would be a little to long of a drive from Michigan! =) Nick, I like chick flicks, but there are so many other way good movies that are out there. Haha, you just got to find yourself the right girl who hates them as well and you will be set for life hehe. I hope the get together went great, I wish I could have made it!

Jordann Christensen - 8/4/2007 (8:16:07 PM)
Nick, Russel and I went to Bourne Ultimatim is a great show it really ties it all up! I loved the ending it was way intense. Brad i am so sorry about your wisdom teeth, i got mine pulled after GHA and now i am fighting and infection in one of the sockets. Brianne i am so ready for eclipse to come out! I love the whole series and can't wait! Stu I lost you after the first thought on Matter or whatever it was. Mike it is about time you joined us! I love you guys

Jordann Christensen - 8/4/2007 (8:18:39 PM)
P.S. Nick the twilight series is way cool you so should read them! I'll borrow them to you if you want.

Heather Young - 8/5/2007 (1:07:38 AM)
Hey everyone! I hope that everyone who went to the get together had a good time. I wish that I could have made it. But I agree with Jordann, it's good to see you on here Mike! So where are Russell, Ethan, Ray, and Clark? We need to get them on here sometime soon!

Heather Sundblom - 8/5/2007 (2:45:23 PM)
Hey everybody! The get together was tons of fun! I loved it. I miss everyone that couldn't make it, well actually I miss the people that made it too, just a little less intensely. anyway, I LOVE CHICK FLICKS! My friend and I always watch them and cry together. It's always good to throw in some action movies her or there. I am so excited for Eclipse to come out! I'm pretty much going to get it as soon as it comes out! I CAN'T wait! Bradley, I hope you're doing better, and you aren't hurting too much! I love you all!

Matthew Nielson - 8/5/2007 (5:33:56 PM)
Hey, Chesha - I didn't know that you went to GHA! Sorry for crashing your GHA 2007 party - I went last year, but I'm still hanging with GHA people all the time - it's sweet! Julie - is Kate your older sister? Have a fun senior year

Heather Young - 8/5/2007 (8:24:47 PM)
Hey Bradley G. guess what? I was talking to Ethan today and he said a kid from Timpview just moved into his ward. He said the kid knows you too.

Julie Montoya - 8/6/2007 (11:06:06 AM)
Hey! Yes, Matthew Nielson, Kate is my sister.

Chesha Bills - 8/6/2007 (7:24:57 PM)
Well Matthew that is funny because i asked around and no one had even heard about it and when i got there i saw a picture of you and was like wow there is someone i know..

Chesha - 8/6/2007 (7:30:41 PM)
Hey Everyone! How is everyone? I haven't been on forever. So I miss everyone and really can't wait til we can all meet up again.. I met up with Kaitlin.. It was very random we were both playing softball at a tournament and i ran around all the fields looking for her. It was awesome talking. I just wish i could run into the rest of you. Hello to Julie, Michelle, Audrey, Wendy, both Heathers, and everyone else.. well gotta run love you all ttyl

Cameron Pruett - 8/6/2007 (7:48:45 PM)
So i didnt even bother to read the rest of stu's post *no offense stu I still love you* Anyway ill go off of what heather was saying about Eclipse. I know its wierd im like on of the 5 guys who have read the series and i am actually going to a midnight party for such an amazing book!

Cameron - 8/6/2007 (8:14:01 PM)
OHYEA on the additional information section of the application is there anyway to attach like a file to that or do we have to type it out. I know i've been super challenged with this registering thing but give me a break ok!! i make up for it in other places!

Bradley Hatch - 8/6/2007 (10:16:46 PM)
SO I guess I never got the memo on the Reunion Can anyone tell me which month it is in? Gotta Plan ahead and such. Oh and By the way.....IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN "HAIRSPRAY" GO AND SEE IT. IT'S BRILLIANT!!!!

Heather Young - 8/7/2007 (9:24:24 AM)
Hey Bradley H, Sherstin and Cody both told me the reunion was in November. I don't know when in November, but it's supposed to be sometime that month. Sorry I'm not more help. And hello to you too Chesha!

Heather Sundblom - 8/7/2007 (11:06:54 AM)
so.. I was planning on going and getting eclipse late last night, but it didn't happen, so I haven't been able to read any of it yet! I'm quite sad, because I have lots of stuff to do today, so I don't know if I'll be able to read any of it until.. who knows when. Well, I miss everyone lots! I hope the reunion doesn't interfere with anything else i'm doing in November! AH! Love you lots!

George - 8/7/2007 (2:22:11 PM)
Complete the quote: "There is nothing to fear but..."

Stuart Clements - 8/7/2007 (2:53:06 PM)
I'm not offended Cameron. I wouldn't have read the rest of my post either. Well, that's the end of the time-space continuum discussion. Somebody actually explained it before we did. I am bankrupt and don't have any money to go buy Eclipse! I am depressed. I'm glad that someone knows when the reunion is. Thanks Heather! And I really want to go and see Hairspray, but I'm not sure I should cause I got to see it on Broadway... Anyway, that was a really random post. I'm going to go work on some homework. Have fun everyone, and George, the last part of your quote is "Fear itself."

George - 8/7/2007 (5:37:05 PM)
No, the end of my quote is "...Chuck Norris himself." Seriously, I found a shirt that said that. Anyway, I just got an invitation to Cody's and Amy's reception.

Stuart Clements - 8/7/2007 (5:53:27 PM)
Chuck Norris Himself! That is AWESOME! And why didn't I get an invitation? Anyway... That is a brilliant shirt! Almost as good as the shirt I saw with a squirrel on it. It said, Mine are bigger than yours. I was tempted to get it, but I know my mother better than that. Have fun, and don't kill squirrels. Oh! And here is your squirrel trivia for the day: If you feed a squirrel bread, it will die. Why? And for all of you who are planning on feeding them bread now, I will hunt you down and have you dragged into the street and shot, drawn and quartered, and have your entrails pulled out and BURNED! Squirrels are cute and cudly... Who wouldn't want to cuddle up with one?

Scott Jackson - 8/7/2007 (8:23:40 PM)
Hey stew that last part you got that from National Treasure didn't you. that really is a cool shirt.don't feel bad stew i haven't recieved a invitation either

Mike Munson - 8/7/2007 (9:16:34 PM)
Hey I just finished playing two baseball games and one of them was Tintic. Casey I gotta tell ya they aren't very good but hey they beat us so what can I say? So how was the get together for all those who went? Well thought I would just say hi. While you guys are on the topid of movies. Don't watch The Premonition its terrible. later

- 8/7/2007 (10:07:30 PM)
Yea I got an invitation to Cody's and Amy's wedding but there is absolutely no way i can attend the reception I AM SO SORRY CODY AMY I LOVE YOU DEARLY BUT I CANNOT COME. BUT IM SENDING YOU A GIFT.

Heather Young - 8/7/2007 (10:57:33 PM)
I got my invitation today too! I'm pretty sure I am going to the reception as well. Everyone should go that can! It would be like a pre-GHa reunion!

Nick Bradford - 8/8/2007 (10:22:27 AM)
Ya, I got the invitation too! I'm pretty sure they'll send everybody one--dang postal service is slowing up. Good ol' Cody--does anybody remember when he totally tackled me during capture the flag? . . . on cement--oh yeah, I definitely remember! Good times! Best wishes to Cody and Amy. I'm really sorry I can't come to the reception though--bummer--I'd probably get to see everybody too. Hey Cameron you reminded me, I want a Chuck Norris joke on here at least weekly. And, Stu, honestly, you're getting a little violent and protective over this whole squirrel thing . . . what would Gandhi say? Peace out.

Julie - 8/8/2007 (10:41:21 AM)
Hey! Mike, I totally agree, Premonition was lame. If you want to see it, just watch the previews, they tell you everything. My S&#@$* starts next week and I have my first cross country race tomorrow! I haven't gotten an invitation, maybe I should check the mail...

Aleshea - 8/8/2007 (1:17:59 PM)
Hey everyone! It feels like centuries since I have checked the message board. Sorry I couldn't come to the get together. It sounded like y'all had tons of fun. I was so hyped to get Cody and Amy's invitation. It just brought all of those sweet memories of Bradley reading Amy's love letter to Cody. Those were the days. Well Julie, I share your pain, s*!@# starts for me next week too. This isn't happening! I can't be a senior. If anyone has any remedies for serious denial problems, I sure could use them.

Heather Sundblom - 8/8/2007 (1:34:58 PM)
I was so EXCITED when I got the wedding invitation. I freaked out! I hope I can go the wedding reception, I'll be very sad if I can't. Aleshea, it does remind me of Brad reading Amy's love letter too. It makes me happy. Well, I actually did end up getting Eclipse after all. It made me happy. I didn't end up being busy all day either, so I read it... I'm done now. I did stay up all night to read it, but hey, it was worth it. I'm glad my s#*^@! doesn't start for another 2 weeks. I did get my schedule today, and it is exciting, but scary! Love you all!

Natalie Hatch - 8/8/2007 (5:19:21 PM)
Hello! I got my schedule yesterday. I'm so excited for the S#!*@ year to start. I just found out the dates for My school's production of Urinetown. It's Nov. 14th-17th. I hope the Reunion isn't then, because I'll be mad if it is. I heart you all!! GHA rocks!!!

Jordann Christensen - 8/8/2007 (5:27:14 PM)
Hey guys! I was so happy to get an invite to Cody and Amy's wedding, I am going to try and go! Hurrah to them! I am so sorry for all those who start school next week, that is like a total bummer. So Scott what was your fav thing about Florida? Who all went to the get together?

Scott Jackson - 8/8/2007 (6:07:16 PM)
Hey natalie my school did urinetown last year i didn't go see it but we did it. I don't know what my favorite thing was i liked the whole thing.

Scott Jackson - 8/8/2007 (6:22:32 PM)
So i got the invitation and i was looking at where the reception is going to bee and its like a mile from my house. i don't have to travel very far.sorry to those people who have to travel hours to get here when its just arround the corner from me.

Samantha Wallin - 8/8/2007 (9:07:55 PM)
So I was very EXCITED when I got the invitation too!!! But now I want to know about the other romances...I mean Mark and Kate (or is it Tarl and Kate?) Who knows? But keep me updated!

Amy Bang- yup, Cody's Fiancee - 8/8/2007 (9:42:18 PM)
Hello everyone!! You guys are quite the bloggers! I am happy to hear that you are recieving invitations to our wedding! We sent one to everyone on the list so if you didnt get one.. we must have gotten the wrong address, sorry! We would love to see you all at the reception but understand if you have prior obligations! You guys are all AMAZING!! Can't wait to see you at the reception!! Enjoy your last few weeks of summer!

Heather Young - 8/9/2007 (12:24:00 AM)
AMY!!! It's so good to FINALLY see you on the message board! Haha just kidding. But where's Cody at? You should definitely tell him to get on here sometime in the near future. He's missing out! But I also agree, the invitation reminded me of Brad reading the love letters too! Didn't Jared get that on video? If so I want a copy! Also, Liz, I don't know if you ended up texting me back this afternoon or not, but if you did I'm sorry. See, I went fourwheeling today and my phone happened to fall out of my pocket right over a river. We didn't find it for another 3 hours. So...it's not really working at this exact moment in time. Haha.

Wendy - 8/9/2007 (8:34:08 AM)
SAMMER HAMMER!!!!! How are you girl?!?!? lol, so pretty much I tried to text you a while back, but then I was wonderin, do you have texting? haha, good times good times, how is the Student Body President of the mighty Enerprise( I know I misspelled that) Wolves doing? lol....Who all IS going to the reception?

Kate Merkley - 8/9/2007 (11:10:15 AM)
I'm sorry I've been such a stranger.. I've been hiding away as I finished summer school. Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that I am going to serve an LDS mission.. and I got my call yesterday. I will be going into the MTC November 14, and will be serving in the Madgascar Antananarivo mission. I will be speaking French.

CJ Armstrong - 8/9/2007 (6:20:08 PM)
Mike that is my favorite movie!! J/K

Brianne Mauhar - 8/9/2007 (8:05:49 PM)
KATE! I miss you haha, I speak french if you ever need some help. Amy I will try and go. Mike, I liked the movie, but it really bothers me how she cut her face on tuesday and when they show thursday, the very first day, her face isn't cut up. Every other day it is, tuesday, wednesday, friday, saturday, sunday, but thursday it's not. GRRRR bothers me!!!!

Mike Munson - 8/9/2007 (8:30:09 PM)
Like I said, it wasn't a good movie =) I don't know what Urinetown is but is sounds ummmmm......interesting. good luck with that

Samantha Wallin - 8/9/2007 (10:02:04 PM)
Kate, that is amazing!!!! You will be an extraordinary missionary!!(haha that rhymes) And WENDY...so good to hear from you too! Ya I have text but I didn't receive anything from you!! Are you sure you have the right number? lol...But maybe we will have to get together and talk about all the awesome things that the Wolves are going to be doing next year! They both have pretty amazing student body presidents if you ask me! And I agree with Mike that Urinetown sounds interesting. Oh and I am trying so hard to make it to the reception...hope to see you all there! :)Like everyone else has said, I really do miss you guys!

Heather Young - 8/10/2007 (12:09:15 AM)
Well for starters, I know I am going to the reception. I'm pretty excited about that and I hope a bunch of others can make it. But also, Kate that is way cool! I'm excited for you. I have a friend that is going into the MTC on the 14th as well. His name is Brian Hales. Maybe you will see him. But, I hope that the reunion is sometime before the 14th so that we can still see you before you leave. Maybe we will all come to your farewell!! That would be cool. But I'm going to have to agree with Mike and Samantha...Urinetown sounds very interesting. Haha. And by the way, hi Samantha! How's my roomy doing? Haha.

Aleshea - 8/10/2007 (11:04:31 AM)
Hey y'all. Kate, that is sooo cool. That is the mission that my cousin was in! Good luck. Hey I'm way hyped for the wedding reception, I hope that I can go, but S@3&* starts that weekend for me I think. It is so weird being a senior!

Heather Sundblom - 8/10/2007 (11:08:37 AM)
Natalie! I'll try to see if I can make it to your production of Urinetown, but I'm doing a musical in November too.. eek! Kate, that is so amazing! I hope you enjoy your mission to Madagascar, was it surprising for you? Amy! You are so cute! I love you! You and Cody are pretty much perfect for each other. I really hope I can make it to the reception! Love you all!

Natalie Hatch - 8/10/2007 (11:10:23 AM)
Congrats Kate!! That's so awesome! I'm totally going to the reception (what do you guys want?). Mike, Sam and Heather, you are right about Urinetown, it is interesting, but it is "the cleanest musical with the dirtiest title." (that's the actual tag line, no joke) Who ever is in charge of the reunion had better make it before Kate leaves, or else. j/k I heart you all a bunch!!

Julie Montoya - 8/10/2007 (11:32:01 AM)
Congratulations Kate! That is so exciting! If my sister goes to the reception (she's friends w/ Cody) then I will for sure go!

Quinn Mortensen - 8/10/2007 (4:22:01 PM)
The following is an e-mail that I just sent out to all GHA participants: Hello to all! I hope that the summer is treating everyone well and that you are getting the most out of the last few weeks before school starts. Just a couple of items to touch on. 1- SUU Admission Application- the application is now available for everyone to apply. Go to http://suu.edu/you/apply.html to begin the process. I know that some of you have already done this, please do not do it again if you have already completed it. It will ask you to pay the admissions application fee ($40); do not pay it. GHA will cover the cost of applying. 2- GHA Reunion- The GHA Reunion will be on October 26-27th at the SUU Mountain Center (15 miles east of SUU). Check-in will be at about 4 pm on Friday. Overnight accommodations will be provided at the Mountain Center. The reunion will end at about noon on Saturday. Cost of the reunion will be $15-$20. As it gets closer, I will give you final amounts. There is also as SUU Senior Expo on October 26th. This is an SUU event for high school seniors and their parents. It will begin at 9:30 am and will end at 3:00pm. This may be a good combination to do the reunion and the Expo because your parents might drive you down for both. Just a thought. 3- High School College Days- During September, October, and November, all of your high schools will host a college day when all the universities and colleges in Utah will come and present to your senior class. Come and see SUU's session. Myself, Jared, Juliann, or Kirk Blake (Former GHA participant and counselor) will be there for SUU. We would love to see you and catch up. Please forward this to those who may not have received it. Take care and we'll be in touch.

George - 8/10/2007 (6:04:11 PM)
Sweet, I can't wait till the reunion! Congratulations, Kate!

Heather Young - 8/10/2007 (6:40:05 PM)
Well, apparently the reunion is not in November. It's in October. But hey, the sooner the better! And now Kate will still be here for sure! I'm way excited for it though! And Quinn, are you just going to mail us our final grades and stuff?

Heather Sundblom - 8/10/2007 (8:41:36 PM)
Well, at first I was estatic when I heard about the reunion, but then I heard that it was on October 27... that is the ACT test date. :( That isn't good. I'm not sure if I'll be able to come because of that! EEK! I'm sad now.

Cameron Pruett - 8/10/2007 (11:25:49 PM)
THanks Quinn that is something im excited for thats even more exciting than seeing CJ, Sam, And Dave ALL IN ONE DAY O.O Anyway im exhausted i cant barely see to type... stupid ghosts... anyway good night

Julie Montoya - 8/11/2007 (10:45:35 AM)
I can't wait for the reunion! Seth, that half-marathon was awesome! I had such a blast on it! I'm so glad I saw you there!

Aleigh - 8/11/2007 (5:10:19 PM)
Gosh, you leave for a week and come back and this thing is full. So Kate, that is so awsome! I'm so excited for you, you will be an amazing missionary. I'm really hoping to be able to come to the reunion. At this point I don't know if I'll be able to cause it's drill team season, but I will try my hardest. Well, I love you all and hope to see you soon.

Bradley G - 8/11/2007 (7:00:03 PM)
Wow.... Borne Ultimatum... See it... Oh and whoever dramaqueen is for their e-mail user, thanks I guess. *BAAAAAAARRRRRRRFFFFF* THAT'S GROSS! WHY WOULD ANYBODY DO THAT?! THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE E-MAIL, DO IT AND DO IT NOW!! Oh, and the reunion is going to be cool, you don't even know!

Samantha Wallin - 8/11/2007 (8:49:34 PM)
Cameron...I thought I was the only special one that you saw that day, but it sounds like you were lucky enough to the three most amazing people!;)j/k! Lindsay I need to talk to you!!! How was your sister's wedding? Heather, what is up? You were pretty much the best roommate, because you always woke me up on time. Thanks friend!!! Well see ya guys later!

Aleshea - 8/11/2007 (8:51:57 PM)
So ya, my life is like totally ruined. I was so super hyped when I heard about the date for the reunion, until I tragically found out that it is on the weekend of state volleyball. I want to see you guys so much. Ahhhhh! Well anyways, Bradley, I did see that message too, and my sister saw it and about barfed for serious. Goodness! It was awesome to hear from you Aleigh. I was in Nephi a couple of weeks ago, and I was going to stop by, but I had to make it home before 8:00. Sorry! For the rest of you, have a great end of summer. Mine's pretty much over for good. This is so weird!

Michelle - 8/11/2007 (9:13:19 PM)
Wow, so pretty much I had a TON to read, so my thing will be pretty long and it'll probably repsond to things that happened like way last week! Just a warning! Bout the space continum (gosh is that spelled right) I didn't ever read it cuz it lost me to begin with. But, Stu, I was up at a camp all week and there were sooooo many freakin squirrels I swear!! Millions of them I'd bet.... :)! Sorry Heather bout the reunion. I really really wanted to go but I had a friend's leaving for college party thing. I hope everyone had fun! Talking about movies if anyone wants to know a good movie to go to, go see Stardust. It was really good actually! I started reading twilight and I kinda gave up....maybe I'll try again cuz that's all I heard about at the camp I was at. Thanks Amy for the invitation, I still don't know if I can make it but who all is going? I was like who is sending me mail...lol. I haven't seen any of the Bourne movies so it wasn't all that big of a deal for me. I'm way excited for the reunion, but if that is really the ACT date.....grrrrr!! Maybe Quinn should change it!? Anywho, HI CHESHA! hehehe....and to anyone else ya'll had better be having fun - school starts for me next week and pretty much it sucks! Plus we've already started soccer......sigh....scarey! love you all, miss you all!

Audrey Call - 8/11/2007 (10:57:41 PM)
Hey! I miss you guys so much. So... when is this reunion? I am pretty excited!

Heather Young - 8/12/2007 (12:12:02 AM)
Hey Sam! Well...I didn't ALWAYS wake you up on time. Remember that day when we went up to Kolob and Zion's National Parks....and how neither one of us woke up until like 10 minutes before we were supposed to be at the bus. Haha...good times. But Aleigh the reunion is October 26-27.

CJ Armstrong - 8/12/2007 (1:31:35 PM)
Heather are you sure it is October 26-27? I haven't heard anything and so I though I would ask now. I MISS MY PD GROUP AND ALL OF YOU!

CJ Armstrong - 8/12/2007 (1:34:54 PM)
Never mind i just read quinn's thing.

Bradley Hatch - 8/12/2007 (1:57:49 PM)
I am so Excited for reunion it should be a lot of fun...Julieann you had better be coming to Lehi High....You're Alumni

Bradley Hatch - 8/12/2007 (2:02:03 PM)
I am also extremely excited to See all of you at Cody's reception, I obviously have to be there, Just in case there are vows or something they want me to read................I'm kidding.....Really I'm kidding..But anyway hope to see you all there, Does anyone know what happened to Cassidy I haven't talked to him in forever actually since we left

Heather Young - 8/12/2007 (3:30:22 PM)
Bradley that was so funny when you read those letters that Amy wrote to Cody. I swear Jared filmed one of them and I really want a copy of it! But I'm glad that you are going to their reception too! I'll see you there! And anyone else who goes! Hopefully a bunch of people can.

Heather Young - 8/12/2007 (10:08:30 PM)
By the way, has anyone heard anything about the password Jared said he was going to put on this in his first comment? Because one suddenly appears...I don't know it.

Pete Christensen - 8/13/2007 (2:23:54 PM)
Hey guys long time no see. Do you guys check out the meteor shower last night. It was really cool. I want be able to go to Cody's reception sorry. Eat an extra piece of cake for me.

jordann Christensen - 8/13/2007 (4:00:34 PM)
Pete my love it is good to see you or rather see your words on the screen! I am way excited for the reunion! Kate way to go! you are going to be an amazing missionary.

Nick Bradford - 8/13/2007 (4:12:34 PM)
Somebody definitely said it: if you don't keep track this things fills up fast!!! Good to see everybody (metaphorically speaking). Hoorah Kate, Madagascar rocks!!! Hey, just an idea for Heather S. and whoever else is taking the ACT during the reunion on Oct. 27th--I was wondering if they actually give an ACT at SUU--kill two thunderbirds with one stone, eh? I'll look into it.

Stuart Clements - 8/13/2007 (5:52:30 PM)
So I obviously missed a lot by not reading anything for about a week or so. I can't wait for the reunion! Kate, you will be like the missionary extraordinaire! For those of you who don't know, I am writing a one-act play, AND I'M ALMOST DONE!!! If I can get everything together, it will probably play sometime in January, so if you guys aren't doing anything, you will have to come and see it. It's really depressing though... Anyway, s*%^#$ starts in a week, but I have already been going for a week. How lame is that! I love all of you more than ever! Here is my quote for the last forever that I haven't been on here: Death is but crossing the world, as friends do the seas; they live in one another still. For they must needs be present, that love and live in that which is omnipresent. In this divine glass, they see face to face; and their converse is free, as well as pure. This is the comfort of friends, that though they may be said to die, yet their friendship and society are, in the best sense, ever present, because immortal. -William Penn, More fruits of Solitude

Nick - 8/13/2007 (6:00:03 PM)
Good man Stuart! I love that quote. Trivia for everybody: which recently published book did this quote appear in? Stu we should start a short-quote battle, here's mine: "If you're going through Hell, keep going." Winston Churchill

Abe Martin - 8/13/2007 (6:30:24 PM)
Hi Everyone! This is the first time this summer that I've been home long enough to get on the message board. It took me like half an hour to read everything! It sounds like everyone is having a great time. Just so everyone knows they do have the ACT on the 27th at SUU. I don't know what the schedule is for the reunion, but the test is there. Congratulations to Kate, Congratulations to Amy and Cody, and Congratulations to everyone else that deserves them. Have a great last few days of summer!

Stuart Clements - 8/13/2007 (6:42:38 PM)
I'm all in for the quote battle! I know which book the quote appeared in, but that's because I got it from that book. My quote is "There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have been altered." -Nelson Mandela. If you are sure you want to stick with this quote battle Nick, I had better warn you. I have 323 quotes that I can recite from memory, but I didn't have your quote by Winston Churchill. Maybe we should keep going, and together we will publish a dictionary of quotes! Anyway... Have fun everybody and don't do anything I wouldn't do... Not that that limits you much, but party on! I love and miss you all!

Abe Martin - 8/13/2007 (6:42:46 PM)
And here's a quote for you quote people. The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. -Marcel Proust (1871 - 1922)

Abe Martin - 8/13/2007 (6:44:15 PM)
Hi Stuart

Stuart Clements - 8/13/2007 (6:47:08 PM)
Although speaking of hell, another quote for you is "Not a life lost, and we have been through hell." -Sir Ernest Shackleton And a quote by Winston Churchill, "Give us the tools and we will finish the job," or "We are all worms, but I do believe I am a glow worm."

Stuart Clements - 8/13/2007 (6:50:28 PM)
Hello Abe! How have you been? What have you been up to this summer?

Abe Martin - 8/13/2007 (6:53:40 PM)
I've been great! Busy, but great! This is the second week I have been at home since school got out. Speaking of quotes here's another one from Winston Churchill, "It is a good thing for an uneducated man to read books of quotations."

Abe Martin - 8/13/2007 (6:54:38 PM)
Hope lots of people come to the reunion!

Stuart Clements - 8/13/2007 (6:58:13 PM)
No kidding! Just out of curiosity, did you make any sense of my continuation and explanation of time travel, the fourth dimension, and all that jazz, or did it blow you away like it did everyone else?

Stuart Clements - 8/13/2007 (7:03:46 PM)
Well, I have got to go...Have fun and call me sometime and we'll hang out if school doesn't kill us first! If you don't have my cell number, it is 801-592-2829. See you or talk to you later!

Aleshea - 8/13/2007 (7:55:58 PM)
That was kinda weird reading Abe and Stwie's little conversation. I am still kinda bumbed that I can't go to the reunion. It bites. Oh well, life goes on. I hope to see you all some other time. Oh yeah Heather, I was wondering the same thing about the password and update thing. If anyone knows about it, please share.

Scott Jackson - 8/13/2007 (11:19:38 PM)
Hey i really like those quotes abe and stuart maybe the two of you should put together a book. i'd buy it.

Samantha Wallin - 8/14/2007 (9:34:49 AM)
Nick....where have you been? And Stuart, I put your famous quote by you on our bulletin at school...something along the lines of "Life is the story that you tell." Maybe you will have to steer me in the right direction with the wording of it!

Julie - 8/14/2007 (9:58:08 AM)
Hey Stuart, isn't that death quote at the beginning of the 7th Harry Potter?

julie - 8/14/2007 (10:01:21 AM)
oh, i just read what you said, so duh Julie it is in harry potter. and Nick, I liked the thunderbird pun, but why would you ever kill a thunderbird? just kill regular birds with one stone.

Abe Martin - 8/14/2007 (10:32:37 AM)
Does anyone know how to change the application to fall 2008? Quinn said to apply for 2008 instead of 2007, but I can't find anywhere to change the semester I'm applying for.

Abe Martin - 8/14/2007 (10:39:15 AM)
I found another quote for Stuart. "Squirrels for nuts contend, and, wrong or right, For the world's empire kings ambitious fight. What odds? -- to us 'tis all the self-same thing, A nut, a world, a squirrel, and a king." -Charles Churchill Have Fun!

Lindsay Pace - 8/15/2007 (2:43:00 PM)
Sorry I have been a stranger! I miss you all. Good luck starting school, and I hope to see EVERYONE at the reunion! (Especially everyone in my PD- Group!!!) Peace out!

Lindsay Pace - 8/15/2007 (2:43:00 PM)
Sorry I have been a stranger! I miss you all. Good luck starting school, and I hope to see EVERYONE at the reunion! (Especially everyone in my PD- Group!!!) Peace out!

Heather Young - 8/15/2007 (4:38:58 PM)
LINDSAY!! It really has been a long time since you've been on here! Sheesh! You need to work on that! Haha just kidding. Also, all those that are worried about the ACT, like Abe said there is one offered at SUU that day, but the ACT is offered more than just one weekend. You should be able to find another session to take it at in one of your surrounding towns or areas. At least I know they offer it at different times in different places up here.

Angie Edwards - 8/15/2007 (7:10:49 PM)
Hey everyone! Wow that took a LONG time to catch up on everything. So yeah s***** started today for me... it was extremely boring and piontless but I can't believe that I'm actually a senior. Crazy!!! I'm so excited for the reunion, I just hope that I am able to come... stupid ACT, but like Aleshea said oh well, life goes on. Good luck to everyone and I miss you all!!! Peace out!

George - 8/15/2007 (9:02:59 PM)

George - 8/15/2007 (9:04:32 PM)
Oops, pushed the wrong button. I registered for school today, but I have to fix my schedule. Stu, I got a squirrel quote for you, "Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn sometimes." It's a Russian proverb.

Bradley G - 8/16/2007 (10:30:58 AM)
.......mumble... mumble...Huh? Oh! Hey! Sorry 'bout that! I am sooooooo sleepy! ..... and I haven't regestered for SUU yet I remembered.... Is there an "experation" date on the scolarship?

Heather Young - 8/16/2007 (10:35:10 AM)
Hey Abe I don't know if you are still trying to register, but I know how to change the sememster. You just need to make sure you sign up as a first time freshman and not a transfer student. That is the only place that you can change the semester to fall 2008....at least that I found. (And make sure you clicked on High School Senior first as well.) And hello to everyone else!

Heather Sundblom - 8/16/2007 (10:58:47 AM)
Wow.. It's been a while since i've commented on this thing. Hm.. thanks for figuring out that the ACT is at SUU. Perhaps I will take it there. I'm not sure yet. I actually haven't signed up for the ACT yet, I was just about to when I found out that the reunion was that date. Stuart, Abe, Nick.. I LOVE QUOTES! You should publish a book someday, just full of quotes. It would make me very happy. Here's a quote for you "Learning is not attained by chance, it must be sough for with ardor, and attended to with diligence." -Abigail Adams. Stuart, that is so exciting that you wrote a One-Act. I'd love to come see it whenever it's ready.

Heather Young - 8/16/2007 (1:23:02 PM)
Ok so...I'm starting to agree with Heather now. It really sucks that the reunion is the same day as the ACT. And I know that we could all take it at SUU Saturday morning....but that would kind of suck seeing as how we'll miss the second half of the reunion because we'll be testing, and we will have stayed up most of the night. Maybe Quinn should change it if he can....

Cameron Pruett - 8/16/2007 (7:14:01 PM)
Wow im so tired i almost fell asleep reading from where i last posted to this point wow... that does take some work. Anyway SCHOOL!!! EEP anyway big bad senior gotta love it yo? Anyway cant wait until the reunion I've asked it off already at work and counting down. Uhhh in line witht eh quotes i said this today in my mythology class anyway " A hero is someone who is willing to do what is right regardless of who is on their side " and i think that would be awesome if you guys took the act at SUU cause then we could do something after words WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO anyway i have to get ready for work right now XD gonna be so tired tommarow anyway ttfn

Cameron Pruett - 8/16/2007 (7:16:37 PM)
OH YEA WE NEED A GO TO BOTTOM LINK!!!!! Cause eventually this will be like 540324287 years long and then we will be like... dead before we can reply

Scott Jackson - 8/18/2007 (7:49:41 AM)
Hey how is everyone? You guys might have herd that they were inploading the key bank down town today. you can see it on the news some time today. but it doesn't do it any justice. i was right across the street from the buliding. to put it in perspective i was cloer or the same distance from the buliding as the person who blew it up was. it was by far on of the coolest things i have ever donne in my life. i was on the roof of my moms buliding (The Salt Palace) with some construction workers and my family as it exploded. then colapsed. if you ever get a chance to watch a 20 storie buliding colapse under no circumstance miss it. it is one of the coolest things you will ever do.

Scott Jackson - 8/18/2007 (7:53:45 AM)
Sorry about all the backwards letters and miss spelt words i didn't see them till after i posted.

Natalie Hatch - 8/18/2007 (2:49:42 PM)
Hey everyone! Scott, that sounds absolutely incredible! With the whole ACT thing, if you want to drive to Neveda, you could use the late register and take it on Sept. 15th. Just a thought. Oh, by the way, Cameron, What's Bottom Link?

Brianne Mauhar - 8/18/2007 (10:28:51 PM)
Hey everyone, Well I just got my class schedule and I might not be able to come to the reunion =( It takes four hours for me to drive there and I have my AP class my last period that day haha. Poor excuse I know but it's stats. I might just have to be late, but I wouldn't get there till about 7 that night or so.. =(

Heather Young - 8/19/2007 (3:46:50 PM)
Yeah but Nevada is a long drive for some of us. I'm just going to have to take it at SUU. I just don't know how good my scores will be. But Brianne you should come anyways! It's ok if you're late! But I hope to see a bunch of people in a week! I'm hoping that a bunch of people will be at Cody and Amy's reception.

Samantha Wallin - 8/19/2007 (4:52:24 PM)
What the deal? I want more quotes.........Nick........Stuart........Abe???????

Pete Christensen - 8/19/2007 (7:14:38 PM)
Hey guys I hope everything is going good for you. I just got back from Lake Powell a bunch of friends and I went down there to party one last time because school starts tommrow. It was good to see you to Jordan. Here is my favorite quote "Do or do not. No try" -Yoda P.S. I broke my classes at the lake and can't see what I'm writting so I hope its readable.

Abe Martin - 8/19/2007 (8:24:23 PM)
OK, here's another quote. "I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship." -Louisa May Alcott. I hope everyones having a good time. Has everyone started school now? I started on Thursday. I finally got my invitation to the wedding reception. I'm sad I won't be able to make it, but a 10 hour drive on a school night just isn't going to work out. I'm sorry about your classes Pete. :)

Abe Martin - 8/19/2007 (8:25:29 PM)
Ooh, I found another good quote. "One cannot conceive anything so strange and so implausible that it has not already been said by one philosopher or another." -Rene Descartes

Heather Sundblom - 8/19/2007 (10:51:09 PM)
I guess i'll probably end up taking the ACT at SUU. Like Heather said, I might not do as well as I could have. Anyway, I'm way excited for the reception! I can't wait to see people there. Abe, I LOVE that quote by Louisa May Alcott! I start school on the 27th, but it's pretty much like I start it this week. I'll be at the school so much. Scott, it sounds like you had an enjoyable time watching the Key Bank building being demolished. Hopefully everyone is living their senior year to the fullest!

George - 8/20/2007 (8:02:00 AM)
School starts on the 22 (Wednesday). I'm not going to be able to make it to the reception :( Sorry Cody and Amy. For some of us, Nevada is only a two minute drive away (seriously, but to an ACT testing center it's about an hour and a half). Here's a quote: "Motivation is a fire from within. If someone else tries to light that fire under you, chances are it will burn very briefly."-Stephen R. Covey

Jordann Christensen - 8/20/2007 (8:43:25 AM)
Hey everyone. It has been a really long time since i have written. I am so sorry for all of you who have started school already, but i am even sorrier for those who can't make it to the reunion. I will seriously miss you guys! Pete i am so glad that you noticed me! Scott the building collapse looked cool on tv i can't imagine how it would look in real life. I miss you guys. ttyl

Nick - 8/20/2007 (11:03:36 AM)
Hey guys I'm back from the dead . . . actually I just got back from Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania. I just flew in last night It was the first time I've flown anywhere--and the first time I've been east of the Mississippi. Back East is awesome--they have tons of trees and they don't really need sprinklers. Gettysburg was way cool--just being on the battlefield where so much history was decided. Hey Stu, I've walked on ground where Abe Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address! Anyways I hope everybody is doing well--s***** begins in a week for me; freedom is fleeting it seems. So summer isn't even over yet and I'm already behind on my IB and AP homework--typical. George and Abe the Squirrel quotes have been awesome!!! Here's mine for the week: "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. It is bad manners." Napoleon Bonaparte, Waterloo 1815. Peace out!!!

Bradley G - 8/20/2007 (11:08:58 AM)
OK, you guys can say school now... I start tomorrow. *SIGH* .... Oh! here's a cool quote from "The Sound of Music" check it out. "Remember you are special, just like everyone else" Sister Mary. HA HA HA!

Bradley G - 8/20/2007 (11:12:14 AM)
Oh, and Heather... DON'T TAKE THE ACT OVER US! WE ALL LOVE YOU! TELL THEM TO CHANGE THE DATE OR SOMETHING! (I run out the room crying while dog is barking at my mom while she is on the phone)

Cameron Pruett - 8/20/2007 (8:31:28 PM)
Quote of the moment " Train Yourself to let go of all you fear to loose" Yoda. OH WAIT I HAVE TWO QUOTES!!! One's from gandalf and applies to when your sorta feeling sorry for your self saying "I wish none of this had never had happened" and the reply which is my quote "So do all that live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you were also meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought." Anyway thats the quote of the day from me and pretty much life is kinda boring on my end schools started and im having adjusting to this sleep cycle i want to stay up till two cause of work but now i have to sleep much more XD anyway so if by chance someone sees me and im out of it thats why. Anyway i got my baby back and shes as shiny as i left her back in may. AS those of you who are confused i got my saxaphone back i have missed it dearly and i get to go to the best class in the world tommaorw Jazz band. "What happens in the jazz band stays in the jazz band"

Heather Young - 8/20/2007 (11:27:58 PM)
Hey everyone! Wow there have been a lot of comments...and quotes...in the last couple of days. Haha. Well here's my quote for the day: "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." So school starts for me on the 28th. I'm not too excited about that, but there's not much I can do about it. I registered for all my classes today. But anyways, it's late and so I'm going to head to bed. I'll talk to you all later!

Scott Jackson - 8/21/2007 (12:15:11 AM)
Hey Heather you got that quote out of a movie but i can't think of which one.

Heather Young - 8/21/2007 (10:42:28 AM)
Hey Scott....I actually don't know what movie it came from. It's just on my wall and I like it a lot. Haha. But if you figure out what movie it is on let me know.

Heather Young - 8/21/2007 (10:42:38 AM)
Hey Scott....I actually don't know what movie it came from. It's just on my wall and I like it a lot. Haha. But if you figure out what movie it is on let me know.

Heather Young - 8/21/2007 (10:43:02 AM)
oops...I somehow posted that last message twice haha.

Michelle - 8/21/2007 (11:06:07 AM)
Ok, so apparently it didn't happen to anybody but me! The message board would NOT come up on my computer and I kept getting the little "Cannot display page" error thingy which was really making me sad, so I've spent the last 10 minutes reading what I could've read before if my computer wasn't so stupid! I think that might be the best bet for us is to take the ACT down there - if Quinn can't change the date. I emailed him asking him if it were possible - so who knows. I think it would make all our lives easier to have it changed....anyone else agree? lol. I'm still not sure if I can make it to the reception, but I'd love to! Heck while we were talking of people who haven't been on here where is Kaitlin? hehe....School starts for me tomorrow and I'm actually really excited....weird huh? Pete, I didn't know about the meteor shower! Scott I had meant to watch that but didn't get a chance. I haven't run into a password at all...I guess I'll stop - but I want to join this quote thing so - "The past is but the beginning of a beginning, and all that is and has been is but the twilight of the dawn." - H.G. Wells.

Brianne Mauhar - 8/21/2007 (12:59:24 PM)
Hey Scott and Heather it's from Hitch =)

Brianne Mauhar - 8/21/2007 (1:03:11 PM)
So I hate to burst everybody's bubble. But I doubt Quinn will be able to change the date of the ACT. Those days are National dates. I know he has a lot of power but not that much =(. Everybody all over the U.S. takes the tests the same day. I know it sucks! I wish we could change it to. School starts for me on the 30th! Yeah! I still have a week haha. Good luck to everyone this year, I love you all.

George - 8/21/2007 (1:27:06 PM)
Brianne, I think that they meant that Quinn should change the reunion, not the ACT testing day. "I am ready to meet my maker, but whether my maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter."-Winston Churchill

Brianne Mauhar - 8/21/2007 (4:26:41 PM)
That makes plenty more sense haha. I was gonna say theres no way he can change the ACT. Haha, thanks george =).

Mike Munson - 8/21/2007 (6:24:57 PM)
Its all all right Brianne we all have our moments.=) How was Michigan by the way? Well I have been going to school for two days now and its not cool. I am already tired of it. But hey not many things are cool when you only have 20 kids in your class. Hope everyone is doing well. how is this for a quote " Castles in the sky are all right until we try to move into them" Nice right? ha ha See ya

Brianne Mauhar - 8/21/2007 (10:16:11 PM)
Well Mike, You know me and my moments. I was talking about those the other day, I had a really bad one haha! Basically it ended with me in the arms of a stranger. The first moment I've ever had that made me turn red hehe.

Quinn Mortensen - 8/21/2007 (11:16:28 PM)
Hi Everybody!!! I am working on changing the date of the reunion. The SUU Mountain Center seems to be booked solid but we'll see. I will keep everybody posted on the developments. Just a quick question "Have you made your GHA experiences crap or gold?". Remember, it's up to you which of the two you choose. School is now starting for a lot of you, take what you have learned during the summer and use it!!! You are all awesome. Take care!!!

Scott Jackson - 8/22/2007 (12:41:24 AM)
Thanks Brianne for the movie i know that it was from one i just couldn't think of which one. hey you know whats wierd is that we don't live all that far away from each other and i have only seen you that once. we need to get together soon.

Aleigh - 8/22/2007 (10:00:33 AM)
Hey everyone. Wow, I haven't been on for a while. That was a lot of reading. Well anyway, I start school on Monday, but I feel like I'm already in school cause I've had Drill Team practice everyday since last week, I'm so tired. But ya I want to join in on this quote game cause I LOVE quotes. Okay, this is one that I got from my young women's leader on Sunday and it's helped me a lot this week, "Sometimes the solution is not to change our circumstance but to change our atitude about that circumstance..." I love that quote. Well hope you all have a good day!

George - 8/22/2007 (5:58:18 PM)
School started for me today. It was a bit of a pain, trying to get college classes scheduled in with high school, most teachers didn't want to cooperate. "Let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate."-Samuel Johnson

Aleshea - 8/22/2007 (6:00:31 PM)
Wow, you little bloggers. I really shouldn't stay off of this site too long. There is so much to catch up on. So ya, my S@%#4& started last Thursday. I have been working my dear rear off ever since, so I haven't had time to chat with ya'll. I hope that you all have a great year, as everyone's S@#%& is starting. I wish that I could be there for the reunion, but that is quite impossible, because state volleyball is that weekend. BUMMER! I miss you guys. Have fun!

Heather Young - 8/23/2007 (3:41:15 PM)
Wow...it's only been a couple days since I got on here but it filled up fast! I'm glad that Quinn is trying to change the date of the reunion though. That will be nice if he can. If not, I guess we'll just register for the ACT at SUU. Well, it's good hearing from everyone! I'll see some of you in a week!! =)

Samantha Wallin - 8/24/2007 (11:05:16 AM)
I know that Russ hasn't been on here, but I just wanted to tell him that he is in my Government class from UVSC! I wanted to say hi over the mic, but I opted against it. Anyway...if you ever read these...

Brianne Mauhar - 8/24/2007 (11:24:40 AM)
Well, I'm always up for meeting up with you or anyone else scott. Lately I'm extremely busy, so I need a big advance, because I'm working like crazy and am busy with officers. So just let me know =)

George - 8/24/2007 (1:22:58 PM)
Samantha, are you taking POLS 1100 from UVSC? I took that last year, it was fun. I learned a lot from it.

Pete Christensen - 8/24/2007 (9:19:58 PM)
Hey guys I just finished my first week of school. I also had a baseball game tonight and not to brag or anything but, I hit my first home run. I am glad that everyone is doing okay.

Angie Edwards - 8/24/2007 (9:50:49 PM)
Hey Pete! PD Group buddy! WOW!!! Congrats that is so awsome now if only I could. Ha ha. Well for all of you that are complaining of school just starting I've been in for two weeks now so... Well I REALLY hope that Quinn can get the reunion changed! I love GHA!!!

Stuart Clements - 8/25/2007 (1:09:07 PM)
I am so sorry that I have not gotten on the message board in forever! I love all of the quotes that you guys posted, and if everyone just wants to keep submitting quotes, I will copy them all down into a notebook, and then we can publish it! And if anyone is a good artist, we could publish a series of books with artistic pictures to match the quotes or something cool like that. By the way, for all of you who didn't know, my email provider has changed, so my email address is now kendiane@quickutah.com Anyway, I have been so busy that I am about to die. What's even worse is that the GHA reunion is on the last day of the term, but I'm still coming. For all of you who need quotes, here are a good number of quotes for you to make up for all of the ones I didn't post. "Something can be created from nothing but a dream." "Perception makes the world." "We are the music makers. We are the dreamers of dreams." "Do not follow where the path may lead. Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail." "We came together as strangers and will leave forever friends." "We forfeit three-fourths of ourselves to be like other people." -Arthur Schropenhaur "A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart." "As one grows older, one sees the impossibilty of imposing your will on the chaos with brute force. But if you are patient, there may come that moment when, while eating an apple, the solution presents itself politely and says: Here I am." -Albert Einstein And one last one, by Abe, who hasn't posted his own quote yet. "To capture with a pen the life within the universe, the power within a word."

Aleshea - 8/25/2007 (1:39:04 PM)
Hey, sweet quotes Stewart. I miss you all, hope to see you soon.

Heather Sundblom - 8/25/2007 (4:06:06 PM)
I really should keep up on reading the blog. It would be a lot easier than reading a lot of them at once. Anyway, I'm so excited to hear that Quinn is working on changing the date of the reunion, but if it doesn't work out, that's okay. I have been so busy this week, even though school hasn't started. I can't even imagine what it'll be like once it does start. Angie, I'm sorry you've been in school for 2 weeks already. How is swim going? There have been tons of quotes on here that I love. Stuart, you should keep track of all of the quotes and publish a book of them. I miss you all. I hope to see lots of GHA people at the reception!

Wendy - 8/25/2007 (7:41:12 PM)
hey, so is anyone else talking History 2700, or Art 1010, or Psy 1100 over at UVSC? George, was your professor, Professor Melton? I really liked that class, very useful, lol...oh, and Sam...your 'wolves' were down with my 'wolves' and I looked all over for you and you weren't there! There was a big volleyball toury in N.S., and I was going to ask your main setter to tell you hi, but I was scared....they looked pretty focused during warm ups...mucho love to everyone!

George - 8/26/2007 (2:22:35 PM)
Yes, my professor was Nathan Melton, and I took History 1700. My principal made our facilitator drop Art 1010 :(

Heather Young - 8/26/2007 (2:58:10 PM)
Hey everyone! Stuart, I really liked the quote, "We came together as strangers and will leave forever friends." That quote reminds me of GHA. We didn't know each other when we came but we were all way good friends by the end of it. I found a really good quote the other day at the end of a movie but I don't remember exactly how it goes. But I'll go look at it again and post it on here later. Anyways, it's good to hear from everyone.

Samantha Wallin - 8/27/2007 (8:41:31 AM)
WENDY!!! Ya sorry I don't play volleyball, but I like hot male volleyball coaches(haha inside joke) J/K to all the rest of you! Hey and I am taking History 2700 and Psy 1100 at UVSC too! And ya, my Professor is Nathan Melton! Fun class already! Anyway, only three more days until Cody's wedding!!! See ya guys later!

Samantha Wallin - 8/27/2007 (8:43:25 AM)
Oh ya Wendy, I bet our Wolves beat your Wolves! That's right, but no hard feelings because you will probably beat us in football!!! Looking forward to seeing you at that game!

Angie Edwards - 8/27/2007 (9:58:34 AM)
Hi Sam! Yeah so Heather high school swim hasn't started yet but I am still swimming and it's going pretty good. So if you know anything about swim season and how LONG it is I'm kinda glad it hasn't started yet because I actually have a life at the moment, but not for long. Oh well. I really, really hope that Quinn can get the reunion date changed or else I may not be able to come:(

Audrey Call - 8/27/2007 (10:53:17 AM)
I think that I need to stop staying up so late because school started for me last week and I am already strugling to stay awake. I miss all of the mints and Jolly ranchers! :) good times... anyways, good luck to Wendy, Sam, and Chesha in softball. i miss you guys

Audrey Call - 8/27/2007 (11:03:59 AM)
By the way Heather, Scott, and Brianne I really like the movie Hitch. another good quote from that movie that might help some of us since school has started already says "Begin every day as if it were on purpose."

Stuart Clements - 8/27/2007 (8:05:15 PM)
Here is another great quote for the day: "There is no greater sorrow than to recall a happy time in the midst of wretchedness." -Dante Alighieri Sorry if that is too depressing for any of you, but it is one of my favorite quotes. And yes, I am keeping track of all of the quotes that I have, and the quotes that people post on the message board, so eventually, if I can find enough good quotes and an appropriate format, then I will publish a book with all of our quotes. And then, one of the greatest quotes that describes my life, "Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia." -E.L. Doctorow And Aleshea, I can't believe that you spelled my name wrong! (sob) Anyway, I am taking a creative writing class, and it is amazing! And just because I'm bored, here's another quote: "Love isn't love until you give it away." Everyone keep posting quotes, and I love and miss you all! Well. I am still bored out of my mind, and I only got three and a half hours of sleep last night, and I need to stay up until at least midnight to talk to one of my friends, and I really have no life, do I? Well, I hope to see all of you later and I love you all (I already said that, didn't I?) Well, I still love and miss all of you and I cannot wait for the GHA reunion! :)

Abe Martin - 8/28/2007 (6:52:14 PM)
Hi Everyone! I can't wait for the GHA reunion. It is going to be a blast to see you all again. My school has been going for almost three weeks now, and I am getting buried in homework. Here is another quote to balance yours out Stuart. "Most people would rather be certain they're miserable, than risk being happy." --Robert Anthony

Natalie Hatch - 8/29/2007 (6:40:06 AM)
Now no one is spared. . . I'm starting school today. i had an odd quote in my dream, and it's going to be my motto for the year. "Even the brightest crayons have dull moments." I love you all--see (some of) you tonight!

Lindsay Pace - 8/29/2007 (1:50:49 PM)
I hope everything is going well for everyone. Good luck with your first few weeks of school!

Nick Bradford - 8/29/2007 (6:40:51 PM)
Amen Natalie . . . school began today!!! And already I have the feeling that I'm behind--as usual. Thanks for the quotes guys. I miss everybody; I think a particular appropriate quote for the go-back-to-school season comes from C.S. Lewis. It's actually from him as portrayed in the movie "Shadowlands" (must see): he says, "The pain that we have now, is the joy that we had then." Peace out and long live GHA!!!

Brianne Mauhar - 8/29/2007 (8:40:53 PM)
I start school tomorrow morning. Poor sophomores started today at our school haha, so has anyone not started yet or am I the last? =( You will all be graduated while I'm still going to school haha. Thats weird to think about. Good luck with your school years

Wendy - 8/30/2007 (7:25:58 AM)
AUDREY!!!!I miss you girl! When we gonna go river rafting?!?!?!

Aleigh - 8/30/2007 (3:50:30 PM)
Wow, you'd think I'd learn by now to keep up with this board. Well, I just started school on Monday and I'm already ready for it to be over. It's really sad. But ya, hope everyone's doing good. Oh and here's my quote for the day, "Don't let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game" love you all

Jordann Christensen - 8/30/2007 (4:15:27 PM)
Sam And George I took polls 1100 from melton and History 1700 from Fish Both classes were really fun. Now i am taking film from uvsc. I am so sorry that it has been so long i hope that the reunion is changed. I love you guys!

George - 8/30/2007 (8:58:08 PM)
Jordann, are you taking the film class from Moody? He can be very interesting, just keep up on new movies (and pay attention in class) and you'll do fine. I agree with all those who want school to be over, it seems like I never left school. "It is better to wear out than rust out."--Richard Cumberland. It sounded good, since school has started and all.

Ralph Waldo Emerson - 8/30/2007 (9:22:43 PM)
"Our greatest triumph is not in never failing, but in rising each time we fall."

Squirrel Clements - 8/31/2007 (2:10:23 PM)
"These violent deaths have violent ends and in their triumph die, like fire and powder which, as they kiss, consume." -Romeo and Juliet Act II Scene VI. Who put down that they were Ralph Waldo Emerson anyway? He's my hero! If anyone has the right to steal his name, it should be me! Anyway, I love all the quotes you guys have. Have fun! I should probably get back to class. See all of you later! Hopefully at the GHA reunion. If not, well, I might just take a road trip and come visit all of you. SQUIRRELS ARE AWESOME!

Heather Young - 8/31/2007 (3:39:29 PM)
Well, Natalie, Ryan, Tarl, Jed, Scott, Heather, Bradley.....it was good to see all of you at Cody and Amy's receptiong. That was pretty fun. And for all of you who couldn't make it we were thinking of you and wishing you were there! :) Anyways, I'm way excited for the reunion....I'm still hoping Quinn can get the date changed. Well, I'll talk to you all later.

Heather Young - 8/31/2007 (3:40:13 PM)
