Samantha Wallin - 10/1/2007 (8:59:30 AM)
Peter--loved your quote! I think our Homecoming tops all yours...joking but it was pretty sweet! I got to ride a helicopter in for halftime of the football game! In little old Enterprise, fun things happen too! Well I hope everyone starts their week out good with a rockin Monday!

Heather Young - 10/1/2007 (3:54:57 PM)
So guess what? Our "College Days" were today and guess who was there from SUU? JULIANNE!!!

Nick Bradford - 10/1/2007 (6:01:28 PM)
Hey I forgot to mention it, but yeah I saw Juliann at our College day too Heather, a little ways back. Pete your quote is AWESOME--I'm a big John Wayne fan!!! George, Henry V is probably one of my favorite Shakespeare histories--too bad I missed it--was it pretty good?

Cameron Pruett - 10/1/2007 (8:07:26 PM)
Sam You should have totally given me and julie the heads up you were going to be there cause now im like way sad cause i was there too i was in the marching band. Wow... so long since i've been on here i've been so busy XD wow... such a long time... i saw juliann at college days too which rocked hard core i feel bad cause im catching senioritus already XD but i need to keep focused so i can keep a high gpa. i also need to get sleep cause marching band is stressing me out XD cause we are less than two weeks from the first competition and we do not have all of our drill XD which is disturbing we may not be ready O.O well i've asked the days for the reunion off and so i'm wondering who from the land down under is going up there and can i possibly hitch a ride?

George - 10/1/2007 (8:21:50 PM)
Nick, it is still playing. I loved it. I'm attempting to write a speech about the Trojan War for my Public Speaking class tomorrow.

Squirrel Clements - 10/3/2007 (12:36:40 AM)
So I love all of the quotes that people have been posting on here since I last posted. I especially like the one by Shakespeare. It is awesome! Anyway, I am headed down to the Shakespeare festival tomorrow! Well, actually it is today now isn't it? Anyway, I set up a writing club at my school since my school didn't have one. And I'm having a crazy busy life. I'm going to die if I keep loading on more, but there is so much that I want to do that I don't know what I want to give up. Anyway, I have college days on what is now today, but it's Kirk Blake who is coming to my school. So I am stressed out beyond belief, and I have like the hardest time keeping up with it all. If anyone has some pointers on how to run life a schedule that involves very little sleep, please tell me. I need to be able to manage my life, but I am having trouble with that right now, and my parents won't let me drop out of anything I'm involved in. Well, I am going to go do some more homework and I will talk to all of you later. I love you all! "When life gets hard, think about apples." -Squirrel

Heather Young - 10/4/2007 (10:28:16 PM)
Hey that's cool that a bunch of us got to see Julianne. And Stuart, I can't believe you are still alive.....20 classes!...and other stuff as well....sheesh! You amaze me.

Heather Young - 10/4/2007 (10:28:45 PM)
Oh and by the way Brianne, it was really good to see you at UVSC the other day! That was so cool!

Angie Edwards - 10/7/2007 (4:14:01 PM)
Wow I haven't been on here forever!!! I'd say I'm busy but Stuart I think you have me topped. But swim has started and I am finally getting in the mood to maybe be at practice and actually swim after a month. I don't even know if that made any sense, I'm way tired because we had Sadies last night and I got home way early this morning and didn't get any sleep. Oh well I had a blast it was worth it for sure!!! Here's my favorite quote "No matter how hard you try someone tries harder. No matter how good you are someone is better. No matter how bad you want it someone wants it more. BE SOMEONE!!!"

Michelle - 10/7/2007 (5:31:15 PM)
Wow, I'm surprised we're still on the topic of Shakespeare. I'm reading yet another book based somewhat off of "Hamlet" only it's Ophelia's take on it. Anyway it has got me thinking that perhaps I need to read and/or see the play "Hamlet". LOL! I haven't asked for the time off for the reunion yet but seeing as it's a bit aways I have time. Stuart I think that's who's going to be at my College Day too. Mine is actually tomorrow and I'm way excited! I love college day and I'm excited to maybe see someone from GHA at the SUU one. I have a LOAD of questions I need answered so. Stuart I just need to say that pretty much you are amazing so high five! Keep it going - I've been there before. Well see you all later! "Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns. I am thankful that thorns have roses." - Alphonse Karr

George - 10/8/2007 (7:17:59 AM)

George - 10/8/2007 (7:20:19 AM)
Oops, wrong button. Stuart, you really are crazy. By the way, a classmate of mine in Journalism wrote a story about a possessed squirrel, I'll try to get a copy for you :). Michelle, don't procrastinate too long... Our school doesn't have our own college day, so we have to travel to Grantsville for it, but it's today, and I have a gazillion things due.

Samantha Wallin - 10/8/2007 (9:24:43 AM)
I like that word...gazillion.

George - 10/8/2007 (4:00:55 PM)
Oh boy, now instead of just a quote book, we'll have to start on a dictionary :)

Natalie - 10/8/2007 (10:34:02 PM)

Natalie Hatch - 10/8/2007 (10:41:04 PM)
That was weird. Anyway, Kirk Blake came to my schools' colledge days, and Jared came with him. He said that the DVD's are in post-production (Yay!!). He also said he might add a password soon (but he mentioned that like three months ago so . . .) hope everyone survives atleast one more week (heh, heh) I heart you all!!!

Squirrel Clements - 10/9/2007 (1:58:22 PM)
George, I will definitely want a copy of that squirrel story. In case you don't already have it, my email is kendiane@quickutah.com Anyway, I can't wait for the DVD! I was actually looking at the GHA slideshow during my study hall and I got in trouble, but oh well. I am sooo happy for this weekend. It's a long break, so I can finish reading Crime and Punishment and do my 20 page explications on it. Anyway, if you guys want to start posting random words on the website as well, I can keep track of weird words, random facts, odds and ends. Just give me whatever and eventually it will be in a book. If it keeps going like this, we may very well have a full series produced by GHA! Well, I'm so overwhelmed that I don't know what I'm going to do. It's almost to the point where I may have to drop one of my AP classes to keep up with my other work. Does anyone have any alternate options? I want to keep doing everything I'm involved in, but I must say that it's just about killing me and all of my crazy squirrel powers. I love you all!

George - 10/9/2007 (5:19:47 PM)
If only the world of Harry Potter was real... Then you could get a Time-turner. I still can't believe you, Stu, you have over 20 classes, clubs, etc. and you still want to compile all our random stuff. Is anyone in Communications 1020 (Public Speaking) from UVSC? If so, are any of you competing in the speech competition?

Samantha Wallin - 10/11/2007 (9:59:37 AM)
I got the best quote, "Be thankful we're not getting all the government we are paying for." -Will Rogers. Just think about what Hilary Clinton would do next. WOW, that is all I can say. Well, and gazillion. :) Have a fantabulous day!!

Heather Young - 10/13/2007 (12:03:49 AM)
Ah we totally just won our Homecoming game against Judge!!! We are now first in our region!!! It's pretty sweet. Homecoming was pretty hectic to get planned, but everything has worked out the way it was supposed to and it was all worth it! :)

Michelle - 10/13/2007 (10:07:13 AM)
OMG! Sorry to those who that offends, but that's what I'm feelin at the moment! I had a nice comment the other day and I posted it supposedly but now it's not here, it's done this to me before but grrr! It frustrates me like no other. Sorry I'm ranting but....Anyway Stuart you are amazing! I was like that all last year and I know exactly how it feels good luck, just keep yourself from procrastinating and you'll do fine. I promise! I agree with George - a time-turner might do the trick. Nice quote Sam and Heather you guys are lucky. We got moved up into 4A this year and our football team is doing really bad...we lost our homecoming game against Provo. Well I am excited for everyone and everything you all are doin! I'm also excited for the DVDs. Question: Has anyone gotten an acceptance letter from SUU yet? Just wondering. I got to see Juliann the other day at my college day and I was so excited! Well here's my quote: "The burden becomes light when cheerfully borne."- Ovid.

Cameron Pruett - 10/13/2007 (10:24:54 PM)
Michelle I got My Acceptance Letter To SUU like last week sometime so yours is either in the mail or still coming you not being accepted would be clinical insanity cause from what i know about you your amazingly intellegent. AND YES STU YOU ARE AMAZING and I cannot wait to see ya again. Well I'm still trying to round up a ride to get to the reunion if it comes to it me and julie will hitch hike to get there!! quote of the day is from something total nothing important called how to kill a mocking bird " The Slave Woman's Book Said the only way to kill a mocking bird was to throw the moon at it"

Squirrel Clements - 10/14/2007 (6:29:35 PM)
Well, thanks for all of you who think I am amazing, and yes, I would like a time-turner, so for anyone who has access to one, please let me know. My cell number is 801-592-2829 Anyway, yes I also got my acceptance letter. And yet I am still getting applications to colleges all over the place. Has anyone ever heard of Tulane University? I have no idea where it is, but they keep on trying to get me to apply. I am so close to dead that it really isn't funny. If anyone has some extra time, I could sure use someone to read Crime and Punishment for me and do 20 page explications on it by thursday, and I haven't even started. Good luck with life for all of you. Don't die, it's bad for your health. I love you all!

George - 10/14/2007 (6:54:57 PM)
I also got my acceptance letter, probably about a month ago. I was thinking about applying to Harvard, though. Just to see if I could get in :) I would try to help you Stu, but I have to write a four page argumentative essay solely on whether or not the U.S. should lose the war in Iraq (any suggestions would help), another essay about what I would change about the world, and a few speeches.

Heather Sundblom - 10/14/2007 (10:58:21 PM)
WOW! I really should keep updated on the message board. It's just been pretty crazy with my schedule. I'm the lead in my school play, so I'm pretty much living that life just as much as my real life right now. It sounds like everyone's homecoming was a blast. Mine was! I'm just glad I didn't have to plan mine. I also saw Julianne at my college day. It was pretty much the most amazing thing ever. I wish everyone the best of luck with their busy lives. It's not easy! I love you all.. I miss you all! My quote for today is "Human pain does not let go of its grip at one point in time. Rather, it works its way out of our conciousness over time. There is a season of sadness. A season of anger. A season of tranquility. A season of hope." -Robert Veninga

Aleigh Wilkey - 10/15/2007 (3:30:36 PM)
Okay so I haven't been on here in I don't even know how long. There's so much on here! My life is so crazy right now. I have practice every morning at 6 a.m., and then homework, oh my heck it's crazy. I feel so sleep deprived right now. Well I'm glad you all had good homecomings, I didn't go to mine. So I went to the movies with my mom and my young women's leader that I'm super close to. Well it was exciting, I saw Julianne at college day last week, it was so great to see her. I wish I could see the rest of you, I miss you guys so much. Hey guess what, I might actually be able to come to the reunion now, we're not going to the competition that weekend. Now I just have to find out if I'm going to have practice. Well, that's all for now. Here's a quote for you all, "Better keep yourself clean and bright, you are the window through which you must see the world"

Pete Christensen - 10/15/2007 (3:50:07 PM)
Hey Stu Tulane is also trying to get me to apply thier too. I looked them up and thier in New Orleans. Hi everyone else.

George - 10/15/2007 (4:16:50 PM)
"Pain is not a reason for stopping." Ayn Rand

Nick Bradford - 10/15/2007 (9:40:37 PM)
Hey all!!! I just finished a 5,500 word rough draft of my extended essay on Castro and Communism in Cuba for IB. . . and yes it sucked royally. !$!%$%%^&&**((!!!!!!!!!!$%$%!^&&((%#@@@. Yeah you heard me. It sounds like everybody's life is just as hectic as mine too though; my pity goes out to everybody who hasn't been getting their full nights rest. But Ayn Rand was more or less right guys (thanks for the quote George!), it'll be worth it in the end . . . I hope, I hope!!! I miss GHA, the sunshine, and all your smiling faces; I hope to see you soon.

George - 10/15/2007 (9:45:57 PM)
Man, the worst thing is not the work itself most of the time, but the fact that the teachers assign all the big assignments at the same time with the same due date. I guess I can't complain (thanks Stu :P) but I have many essays, speeches, projects, and homework to do. First quarter is up for us next week! Sometimes it feels like a lot longer than one quarter, but looking back, it just flew by! I know it's weird. Maybe after Stu gets done with classes he could explain that paradox of time (JK, to both Nick and Stu).

Bradley Hatch - 10/16/2007 (12:32:15 AM)
Hi Guys. I know It's been a really long time since I got on here but a lot of stuff has happened.....I didn't get cast in our school musical but that's ok. But I don't know how many of you knew that Shakespeare competition was general conference weekend that I competed at. I perform with my dance team and with a monologue. Our dance ensemble took 1st place in our division. And My monologue also took 1st place in my division as well. I got a $1000 scholarship to add to my scholarship from GHA! I competed against 86 other monologues in my division. and I couldn't have felt more at home. I saw Stuart and Jed but no one else. Well of course Melissa but that's because we go to the same school. But I thought I would just tell you guys how much I miss every single one of you. It's hard to be the way I was at GHA here at Lehi. People are just not nice. Anyway love you guys and can't wait for reunion!!!!!!

Squirrel Clements - 10/16/2007 (12:57:04 PM)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a hectic life. Congrats to you Heather on being the lead! And good luck to everyone else who has lives as crazy as mine. For my quote,"The gem cannot be polished without friction." -Chinese Proverb

Michelle - 10/16/2007 (9:58:02 PM)
Well....something has to be super wrong cuz I still haven't gotten mine and there shouldn't be anyway I wouldn't get in right? Well, I guess maybe, but I should right!? Well I hope everyone is having a good time. This year for me is actually pretty easy....sorry to everyone whos is hard - I've been there I KNOW! But this year I am mainly working on my Associates so I only have one real high school class. Term ends for us next week too so, Congrats everyone on makin it through the first term - only 3 left......!!! "Make it a rule of life never to regret and never to look back." Katherine Mansfield

Samantha Wallin - 10/17/2007 (3:20:10 PM)
Have you ever thought. Feet smell and noses run. Why? Why do you park on a driveway and drive on a parkway? Have you ever thought about how water-tight a frog's butt is? I mean he hibernates in water for ten months out of the year!!! JK Have fun ya'll

George - 10/17/2007 (5:35:52 PM)
To go along with Samantha's message: You know the material they make black boxes on planes with? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that? What color is the black box on a plane? Orange.

George - 10/18/2007 (9:00:07 PM)
I need a topic for a persuasive speech, something that I could cover decently in 5-7 minutes. I have no idea how Stu survives, I only know that two higher math classes simultaneously is kicking my butt. "Better to wear out than to rust out." Richard Cumberland

Stuart Clements - 10/19/2007 (7:53:16 PM)
George, you already posted that quote but Oh well. And for all of you who have a facebook account, I'm on there now, so we can be friends. And for all of you who don't have a facebook account, you should get one. Anyway, I'm dying so I needed to drop out of an activity so now my life isn't quite as hectic. Yippee! Anyway, I a still at school, but I am going home early. Yay me! And I could continue with the random questions conversation, but it could end up almost as bad as the time-space continuum conversation.

michelle - 10/20/2007 (6:05:59 PM)
I remember one time I was looking all over the internet and found these like silly questions and came up with an entire email of them. I sent them to a couple friends asking what they thought and they all laughed. Just silly things like "If olive oil is made from olives and vinegar oil is made from vinegar, what is baby oil made out of?" haha....sorry George I hate things like that so I wouldn't be any good at coming up with something. Good luck to everyone! "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." Mahatma Gandhi

Nick Bradford - 10/22/2007 (11:18:31 AM)
Go GHA!!! This is going to be a long week . . . but it should be enjoyable with a little--no--a lot of optimism. Question: did you guys have your Halloween dances already?--we had ours Saturday, and it was amazing! I dressed up as a pirate statue in bronze paint, pretty awesome stuff. We went around posing like statues while everybody was rocking out to the hardcore tunes--we got some odd looks and a couple of kicks and giggles. Hey, George, on your persuasive speach maybe pick something controversial for a topic like gun laws, illegal immigration, or the poor quality of toilet paper (idk & jk). Whatever you do, use a fancy quote and cite Dr. Stuart "Squirrel" Clements as a reference. "Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened." Winston Churchill

Aleigh Wilkey - 10/22/2007 (12:10:23 PM)
Hey everyone. I'm in my T.A. period right now and I'm so extremely bored. So we don't have a Halloween dance! Lame huh. We have Sadies which is after Halloween, so we don't get to dress up. Well I hope everyone's having fun in class right now. I'm excited, only 4 days of school this week! And then we have a 5 day weekend! Woot Woot! It's exciting. "Live for the moments that bring butterflies to your stomache and a smile to your face"

Samantha Wallin - 10/22/2007 (12:15:57 PM)
Hey Nick, I was wondering if you are involved with DECA, too? I love that club! But anyway here is my quote, "Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end. It's not a day when you lounge around doing nothing; it's when you had everything to do, and you've done it." -Margaret Thatcher

Natalie Hatch - 10/22/2007 (4:38:07 PM)
Hey GHA!! Our Halloween Stomp was this weekend, but I didn't go because I was helping the Drama Club with a Fundraiser. My friend said it was lame anyway. I heart GHA!!! "Care about the future. You'll be living there for the rest of your life." Scott Anderson (President of Zions Bank)

Scott Jackson - 10/22/2007 (5:25:56 PM)
Hey it's been along time since i posted somting. just to let you guys know that i'm doing good and that i can't wait to see everyone at the GHA reunion. which if you think about it was supossed to be this weekend. i hope everyone posts how they feel they did on the ACT on saturday and good luck. now for my first quote "Even if your on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there." Will Rogers

Audrey Call - 10/23/2007 (4:17:01 PM)
Hey! I haven't heard anything about the reunion. What's goin' on with that? and.... HURRAY FOR SNOWBOARDING!!! (Heather)

Julie Montoya - 10/23/2007 (6:12:18 PM)
Hey! I love all of your quotes! Especially because I do the announcements at my school and I have to read a quote everyday, so it really helps out! Aleigh, I'm sorry that you can't dress up for Sadie's. Ours is after Halloween too, but we all dress up anyway. "The way I look at it, if you want to see a rainbow, you've go to put up with the rain." --Dolly Parton

Squirrel Clements - 10/24/2007 (10:06:55 AM)
Well, I'm still a little low on sleep, but now that it's the end of term and the show is about ready to start, I'm doing better than I was. I finished one of my online classes, and I made room in my schedule to fit another one in. Anyway, I can't wait for the reunion to see all of you again!

michelle - 10/24/2007 (10:01:12 PM)
Hey guys! I agree with Audrey, what is going on with the reunion? I haven't asked for work off cuz it's the days I generally work, and I need like firm confirmation that it's gonna happen before I ask for it off. But sorry to all of you who don't have a Halloween dance, I didn't know about ours tonight otherwise I would've gone. We also have Sadies, but it's in the spring. Anyway good job Stuart! Scott nice to hear from you! Same with Sam and Audrey! hahaha...."Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action." - Benjamin Disraeli

Samantha Wallin - 10/25/2007 (3:25:21 PM)
I love reading the message board, because all of you are go-getters. I get so tired of lazy people at my school. So you can quote me on this, "I hate laziness."

Cameron Pruett - 10/25/2007 (5:16:49 PM)
It's about time i got off my loaded down with home work and music to perfect lazy butt and checked on my gha friends. Is anyone coming to the distinguished scholar day at SUU? I know its way far away for most of yea but who knows eh? Anyway i hvae to go get ready for the halloween concert for band ahahahaha we get to drop a dummy for phantom of the opera! this should be awesome

Natalie Hatch - 10/26/2007 (8:16:39 PM)
Thanks a bunch Cameron! I would have completely forgotten to RSVP; it's just been one of those weeks. Does anyone else have "fall break" this weekend? I'm so glad the term is almost done. Here's the quote of the day: "If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you."

Heather Young - 10/27/2007 (1:03:24 PM)
Wow....it's been a LONG time since I've been on here. And yes, Cameron, I am going to the Distinguished Scholar Day. So it looks like I will at least see you and Natalie there. :) Also, Audrey I definitely agree, "Hurray for snowboarding!!" And I haven't heard anything about the reunion either. So if anyone hears about that, let us all know! Also, what about our DVD....wasn't that supposed to come sometime this month or something? And guess what? I get to see Linsay tomorrow!! See, her cousin is one of my really good friends and his farewell is tomorrow. So that will be fun! That's all.

Heather Young - 10/27/2007 (1:04:49 PM)
I meant Lindsay. Oops.

George - 10/27/2007 (1:42:17 PM)
The ACT is long. During the English test, someone got "dismissed" from the test (her phone alarm went off). I'm pretty happy because our English class is over in the second week of November, so in like two weeks. I was also wondering if anything was "officially" decided/set for the reunion.

michelle - 10/27/2007 (1:49:05 PM)
George I COULD NOT AGREE MORE! I swear I think I bombed the Science part of it. My phone buzzed afterwards when we were going over that thing you had to write. I was so scared someone would hear it and I was mad at my mom for making it buzz lol. I don't think any date is officially set and it's making me a little mad....but whatever I guess. If my boss will give me Friday off I'm going to Distinguished Scholars Day, I've RSVPed and everything but....anyway hope you all have an awesome weekend. "Beautiful eyes are those taht show the beautiful thoughts that burn below." - Ellen Allerton.

Heather Young - 10/29/2007 (7:42:36 AM)

Heather Young - 10/29/2007 (7:45:38 AM)
Hey, George and Michelle...I definitely agree with you. This is my third time taking the test but this was by far the worst I think I've ever done. And Michelle if it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure I bombed the science part too. It's usually one of my highest ones, but this times all the charts were so confusing. And George, I'm pretty much jealous, our English class doesn't get over until January. But I'm not jealous of the fact that you guys have to write all your papers a lot faster haha. We are turning in our final draft on our review on Thursday. Anyways, I'm going to go. Hopefully I'll see some of you guys on Friday :)

Heather Young - 10/29/2007 (7:47:15 AM)
Oh and by the way, I talked to Lindsay yesterday about the reunion. The date is set for November 30-December 1 and it is going to be in the Salt Lake area. I don't know for sure what we are doing or where we are staying yet, but Lindsay said they are working on it and will let us know. Quinn's wife just had a baby and so things have been somewhat busy for him. But that's all the news I have on that. See ya!

George - 10/29/2007 (1:22:54 PM)
Wow, you guys are only on your review, Heather? We're getting ready to turn in our rough draft of our final essay (ethnographic) on Thursday. Congratulations Quinn!

Squirrel Clements - 10/30/2007 (12:14:07 PM)
Hey all of you! I'm also going to the distinguished scholar's day, so I will see at least some of you there. I am not as busy as I was, and things are beginning to slow down. Plus, I have got the beginnings of my play up and running! It will be showing sometime later this year. I'm not sure when, but the I'm pulling the cast together and the tech is already working on special effects, but I want this show to be perfect, so it will be a while before it gets done. I will let all of you know when it does though, just in case you want to see it. Anyway, life goes on as usual. I'm trying some interesting psychology experiments with my appearance to see the reactions I get. Today I'm dressed gothic, and I'm acting normal, but people are still asking if something is wrong. It's interesting to find out how many people judge you seriously by your appearance. Stupid judgemental and prejudice people. Anyway, I'm in my study hall class so I had better go before I get in trouble. Talk to all of you later! (Some of you on FRIDAY!) :-D
