Cameron Pruett - 9/1/2007 (11:06:15 AM)
wow... work school things move so quickly. Anyway life heres great we had our first home game yesterday and it was fun despite the fact they crushed us by like more than a 30 point lead. I canbarely talk from all the cheering and the screaming we did. Anyway I saw john lindsay and liz all in like a two second period the other day my best friend took me to the welcome back week at suu cause they had free food it was delicious by the way, and lindsay for lile totally blowing you off I felt bad and i tried to find you again but i got lost hehe... Im glad cody and amy had a good wedding/reception/getting married experiences. Uhhhhhhh i guess i need a quote for stuey... I for some reason have this facination with quotes from Yoda but here is another one "You must unlearn what you have learned." "Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will..." Dunno why but that is my quote for the day and until i cya again ttfn ahahah

Michelle - 9/2/2007 (11:17:12 AM)
Oh sad!! Geez, the last thing I wrote didn't end up on the page for some reason....like the last comment I left!! Grrr this is really getting quite frustrating!! I really wanted to go to the reception but I ended up working which I hate doing anyway but whatever I guess. How was it? I did have a really good quote on the last comment too but I can't member it! Here's another one tho. "Now is the time for all good men to come to." - Walt Kelly.

Nick Bradford - 9/3/2007 (11:23:25 AM)
Happy Labor Day everybody!!! I thought everybody could use a quote given by the man, the myth, the legend--the extraordinary Hitch: "Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away." Peace out.

Squirrel Clements - 9/3/2007 (2:23:13 PM)
Here is your quote for Labor day, "Impossible is only in the dictionary of fools." And two more for all of you choir people, me included; "Good singers make good kissers." and "Music is the language of the gods." Anyway, Nick, I really like that quote from Hitch. Well, school is killing me. I can't wait for the reunion! Anyway, I miss you all! If you don't know, my email has changed to kendiane@quickutah.com so email me. I need something to keep me going so I don't die. If anyone has any writing, poetry or otherwise, send it to me. I'm always in the mood for more writing. I will talk to all of you later! "Make each day your masterpiece." -Joshua Wooden (I dunno if I put that one on here already, but it's a good quote all the same) :)

George - 9/3/2007 (4:01:56 PM)
Another Labor Day quote: "The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary." I do not remember who said it, though. Sorry. I am looking forward to the reunion, but I need to know if Quinn can change the date fairly soon so I know whether or not to register for the dreaded ACT.

Heather Young - 9/3/2007 (6:25:32 PM)
Agreed George. I can fill everything out except location haha. I hope he can get it changed...or even if he can't, let us know so we know what to do. I like all the quotes by the way. I really like that one off Hitch, Nick. It's a good one. Here's a quote for you all...."Happiness is the journey, not the destination." Talk to you all later!

Chesha - 9/3/2007 (10:39:05 PM)
Hey everyone!! Wow i am so lost with all the messages. So i got to be the lucky one.. i saw Wendy today i made her the best roast beef sandwich at subway lol.. but i haven't seen or talked to anyone for a while. Hello to Lindsay i miss you! Hey Audrey thanks for the good luck in softball i think all three of us play each other at one point. I am excited.. So school is not as exciting as i thought it would be. i miss GHA. Well everyone take care and i'll ttyl bye bye.. P.S. email and message me i am so bored with life right now lol

Abe Martin - 9/4/2007 (6:36:33 PM)
Hi everyone! So here is a really weird coincidence. On Saturday me and my parents went up to hike Mt. Timpanogus. We got all the way to the peak, and who should we meet there but Skye Judd! It was pretty cool. Hope everyone is having a good time!

Bradley G. - 9/4/2007 (7:25:26 PM)
I think this is giong to be my last blog guys.... I'm going to be super busy. I'm a bit behind on credits, so behind, I have to take English 9th grade again... I was homeschooled my freshmen year... I hope I graduate, or I'm in big trouble... So.... It's been fun and know that I miss you guys sooo much... Please E-mail me... Good-bye and best wishes, Bradley Gledhill

George - 9/5/2007 (7:12:38 AM)
Brad, I have the same problem. I was homeschooled, but I've made up most of my credits. I'm still missing English 9, but I'm getting packets to take the place of the class.

Squirrel Clements - 9/5/2007 (1:37:19 PM)
I agree with the whole needing credits idea. I'm taking 12 online classes to fill up all of my missing required classes to graduate. I'm really behind, but because I don't sleep much, I'm going to stay on the message board. Heather, that quote is really good! Do you know who said it? Anyway, my new quote that practically defines my life is, "I'm not ADD. The world is just boring." Hope all of the rest of you are having a 'fun' time in school. Hope to see you soon! And I've come up with a philosophy about life that is based off of apples, but I don't have time to explain it now. It is kinda cool and makes you think, although it's not like the time space continuum discussion, even though that made you think too. This is a little bit simpler. Wait a second, I do have time to tell all of you. Here goes: This is something you have to try, and once you do, you will never look at the world the same. First, empty your mind of all thought. Create a void in your head, and feed every thought and emotion into the void. Let your mind go and float away into nothingness. Then, once you have cleared your mind, and not until it is completely cleared, picture an apple. Focus all of your energy on the apple and block out all other thoughts. Begin to analyze the apple. Question yourself as to what the apple IS. What does the apple look like? Smell like? Taste like? What does it feel like? What kind of apple is it? Push yourself to the outermost limits of the apple? What is your favorite kind of apple? Where is the apple? What can you do with the apple? Why do apples have a star pattern in them? Why do apples only grow on apple trees? Why do people believe that apples are evil? Why are the Greek words for apple and evil the same? What is an apple a symbol of? Question everything, literally everything that pertains to the apple. Even consider what you would be like if you were an apple. Or what your best friend would be like. Or what the world would be like if we were all apples. There are no limits on what you can learn about the apple. Now what can you learn about yourself?

Julie - 9/5/2007 (6:55:03 PM)
Stuart, that is cool. I don't have time to clear my mind but it did make me think!

Nick - 9/5/2007 (8:33:08 PM)

Nick - 9/5/2007 (8:39:24 PM)
Word Julie, I agree--I don't think they make days for Seniors where we actually have time to clear our minds! If they did I would buy a package of 30-hour days with six extra hours for sleep. It's still a pretty cool idea though . . . when was the last time I ate an apple? . . . Anyways I had my first cross-country meet today--my time was 19:08 on a three-mile course (not bad for me). How are all the other the crazy GHA cross-country runners doing with their seasons? I'm exhausted right now though so goodnight! "Running is for everyone, cross-country is for athletes." Peace out.

michelle - 9/5/2007 (9:01:04 PM)
Hey guys, I think I may be the only one who isn't having to catch up on absolutely any credits....we only need 28 to graduate and by the end of last year I had 35.5. hahaa...so much for takin college classes! They've gotten me so far ahead. I have a good quote, it's super short but its become my motto lately. "Just listen." - Sarah Dessen.

Heather Young - 9/6/2007 (8:37:49 AM)
Hey Michelle, I'm right there with you. I already have more than enough credits to graduate because of all the college classes I've taken. I only need a few more college credits and I'll have my Associates Degree. That will be nice. But sorry Stuart, I don't know who that quote is by. I like it too though. But here's another quote and I do know who this one is by. "Intelligence plus character--that is the goal of true education." --Martin Luther King Jr.

George - 9/6/2007 (8:44:29 PM)
I wish that my college English classes would count for 9th grade, but the district is not cooperating :{. How many more college credits do you need for your Associates, Heather? That is awesome, I'm trying to get mine too, but they dropped too many of the classes I need.

Squirrel Clements - 9/7/2007 (1:29:31 PM)
I agree that seniors don't have any spare time. I was up until three thirty this morning finishing the first draft of an essay for my AP English class. But that class is so worth it! I want to teach English so I had better get as much English in as I can. Well, I will talk to all of you later!

Mike Munson - 9/7/2007 (9:14:54 PM)
Hey George I don't know if you noticed or not but I am in your math 1050 class by Patty Hayes. I like how your like the only one in your class. Kalli is also in my English 1010 class. Wierd! Well I thought that was cool hope everyone is doing well later

Heather Young - 9/8/2007 (12:11:37 AM)
Hey Mike, Patty Hayes teaches here! So you guys are in the different extension groups. That's cool. And George I need 12 more credits. I'm taking two classes this semester that will get me 6 credits and then I'll take two more next semester.

Cameron Pruett - 9/9/2007 (9:18:25 AM)
I agree with Nick when he said there should have been 30 hour days i would love to have 6 more hours to sleep. Especially yesterday where i only managed to swing like 3 hours before i had to get up and go to work from 11-6:30 and i was excited to come home and sleep but one of my friends sisters went into labor and she needed someone to cover cause she was going to help. So in other words today i am pretty bushed. On note with the graduation. All that is keeping me from graduating is the class im taking online like ol stuey. Stupid Financial literacy... its educational and what not but personally I think its way boring. but you need it to graduate high school and its keeping me from taking the class i want to take. Anyway love the quote from hitch Nicolas now for one of my own "You got a dream, you gotta protect it. When People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you that you can't do it. You want something? Go get it. Period."

Julie - 9/9/2007 (1:38:27 PM)
Cameron, I agree with the 30 hour days, but that would probably just mean that we would have to do more stuff, instead of sleeping! I hope everyone is doing great! School is pretty easy, but I'm SWAMPED with extra curricular stuff!

George - 9/9/2007 (4:58:45 PM)
Actually, Mike, I had noticed. The first time I saw your school (on the day we didn't have class) I wondered if it was you, and then I found out that it was. That's cool. Heather, good job, I wish that I only needed that, I'll still need 18 after this semester:{

George - 9/9/2007 (5:09:30 PM)
Oh, by the way, Mike I'm not the only one in my Math class. Are you taking English 1010 from USU?

Michelle - 9/9/2007 (7:11:21 PM)
Well it's nice to know I'm not the only one. I will be getting my Associates if I can transfer my GHA credits up to USU. Hopefully!! I need to talk to the admissions people about it and see what I have to do since my application has yet to be approved. I am taking a class that pretty much covers my entire half of my 30 credits for the associates. It will give me 14. Good luck to everyone with school, I don't need it because my only really challenging class is Civics. Here's a good quote that might help with the overload of homework: "Pain is inevitable; suffering is optional." - Greta Randolph

Heather Young - 9/10/2007 (9:29:48 AM)
So has anyone heard anything else about the reunion? Is Quinn still trying to change it, or is it still set for October 26 and 27?

Mike Munson - 9/10/2007 (5:29:31 PM)
Umm I'm not sure george my English 1010 teacher is Vinny Exton but I don't know if its from USU or not. I don't really pay attention to things like that. Oh well you could ask Kalli cause she is in there too. later

Nick Bradford - 9/10/2007 (9:03:32 PM)
Perfect GHA quote: "The empires of the future are the empires of the mind." Winston Churchill

Heather Sundblom - 9/10/2007 (11:13:54 PM)
Wow.. I haven't been on here in FOREVER! I wish we had 30 hour days as well. I sure need them. This weekend has been crazy busy with homework, and other activities! It's been a lot of fun though. School is alright, but I need more sleep. Michelle, I love the quote by Sarah Dessen, actually, I just love that book. It is amazing! All of these quotes make me so happy. Nick, I really do love that quote. :D Here's another quote "Music is the pulse of our lives: when we are surronded by the soft notes, we truly live." I actually made the quote when we were talking about diction in AP English! It is an amazing class! English makes me happy! "Cry, the Beloved Country" is a good book, you should all read it! Love you all! I'll try to get on this message board more often!

George - 9/11/2007 (2:56:39 PM)
Oh, well, I have David Neal is my professor.

Heather Young - 9/11/2007 (4:09:56 PM)
Hey George, Mr. Neal is my professor too. Only I have him live. Have you guys gotten that music assignment yet where you have to get 8-10 of your favorite songs, burn them on a cd, and write about them? We got that assignment today.

Michelle - 9/11/2007 (8:14:15 PM)
Hey guys! I really need to know if Quinn has been able to change it too! Plus, wait a minute, weren't we supposed to get like a letter and a DVD back in August? Hmmm.....anyway though, Heather S. I love that book too! Actually I really like the way Sarah Dessen writes so! Anyway here's my quote for today (I believe it works for everyone right at this moment): "To do nothing is sometimes a good remedy." - Hippocrates.

George - 9/11/2007 (9:52:35 PM)
Heather, we did get that assignment. I had a hard time getting the songs, though. Our rough drafts are due tomorrow :{ and I have yet to finish. I did not get how he wanted us to do it, but he gave us examples of it today. Anyway, I thought that we were supposed to be getting the DVD a long time ago, I was looking foward to watching it and reliving memories :P

Nick Bradford - 9/11/2007 (10:05:51 PM)
Good point George . . . where is that GHA DVD. Heather S. I'm glad you're enjoying English :) that book sounds interesting what's it about? I agree Micelle, Hippocrates was definetly right. Peace out.

Nick - 9/11/2007 (10:07:07 PM)
Sorry about mispelling your name Michelle, apparently I can't spell after ten at night.

Heather Sundblom - 9/13/2007 (4:07:25 PM)
I should be doing homework right now, but I had to get on, just to take a break. Nick, Just Listen is a novel about a girl about our age, who has become an outcast, I don't want to give much more than that away. It's a very good book. I wish I could do waht Hippocrates said. I can't just do nothing right now, unless I want to fail my classes, so I love you all! I hope you are all wonderful!

George - 9/13/2007 (7:54:44 PM)
Wow, I think that yesterday was the first day that no one has posted. This week has been killer, three essays due and a speech. Believe it or not, preparing a eulogy is harder than it first seems (it was just for Public Speaking, not because someone actually died). "All work, even cotton-spinning, is noble; work is alone noble."--Thomas Carlyle

Heather Young - 9/13/2007 (10:04:18 PM)
Hey George, so your guyses was due today? Our rough draft is due Monday. But, I still don't really get how he wants us to do it. Oh well. Hello to everyone else! Oh and I want to know where the DVD is too! haha. And I want updates on the reunion.

CJ Armstrong - 9/14/2007 (9:19:52 AM)
I miss you guys so much!! Have a good day!

Natalie Hatch - 9/14/2007 (9:25:54 PM)
"Nothing is so bad that complaining about it won't make it worse." I learned that the hard way this week, because I've had to be at the school around 6:00 AM every morning, and stay after pretty late. I'm glad you guys all have fun(?) classes. I heart GHAers!!!

George - 9/15/2007 (9:12:41 PM)
Natalie, we have Seminary every day at that time, so I kind of feel for you, but I love being up at that time (I guess I'm weird). Heather, I don't think anyone really knows what's expected on that assignment, so I just sort of got songs that described my beliefs/feelings on things. I just went geocaching without a GPS for about six hours, and I'm exhausted!

Michelle - 9/16/2007 (8:21:36 AM)
Thanks Nick, it's ok though. I agree about the whole DVD thing, I want mine, that's why I asked. School, for me, really isn't hard....um....actually the ONLY hard class I have is Civics and it's not even that bad. So GOOD JOB EVERYONE ELSE! That book really was good though, everyone ought to check it out - well mainly girls but I guess guys could too. "The language of friendship is not words but meanings." - Henry David Thoreau.

Heather Young - 9/16/2007 (4:45:24 PM)

Heather Young - 9/16/2007 (4:49:00 PM)
Oops...I didn't mean to do that last one. But I really like that quote Michelle. And George, how many songs did you end up writing about?

Heather Sundblom - 9/16/2007 (8:34:36 PM)
Hm... we really need to hear about this reunion, because I want to know where to sign up for the ACT. EEK! It's due friday! Natalie, and anyone else who has to be somewhere that early, I'm sorry. I tried that, it didn't work very well for me. George, I can't believe you like to be up that EARLY! It's okay though. I love you all!

Angie Edwards - 9/17/2007 (8:38:42 AM)
Hey everyone! So I talked to Juliann last week and she said that Quinn is changing the reunion...she thinks! So I'm still not sure but I hope we find out soon! But anyway my life (or what's left) pretty much ends today. I start swim today after school! Yeah swimmers!!!

Quinn Mortensen - 9/17/2007 (10:20:59 AM)
The following message was sent out to all GHAers emails that I had in our database. Hello to All, I have been working on changing the date of the GHA Reunion. A few problems have arisen. First, it is the night before the October ACT. Second, the SUU Cabin is closed for renovations so with the change because of the ACT date, the cabin is no longer available. Because of these two things, THE GHA REUNION ON OCTOBER 26-27 IS CANCELED. I am currently looking into options of doing the reunion in Utah or Salt Lake counties on Friday November 30 until Saturday Dec 1, 2007. I need to know how this date works out for those of you interested in attending. Also, the reunion budget is not large enough to put everyone up in hotels overnight. How many of you that live in Utah or Salt Lake counties could host some GHAers at your homes and how many. I need this info in order to begin planning the reunion. We would come together at a central location on Friday at about 5:00pm and hang out until about 11:00. Everybody would then go home (or their hosts homes) and sleep. We would meet together again the following morning for a speaker, breakfast, fun and service. Again, I need to know the following things from each of you: 1- Are you planning on attending the reunion? 2- Do you live in Utah or Salt Lake counties? 3- Could you host some GHAers? If so, how many? 4- Do you know of any good meeting locations in Utah or Salt Lake counties that GHA could use on Friday and Saturday? There will be more information coming as we work out the details. Please forward this e-mail on to any GHAers that you think may not have received it. I will also be sending out a letter that will give final reunion info as well as admission statuses to SUU. Just as a reminder, if you have not already, please apply to SUU online at http://suu.edu/you/apply.html. We'll be in touch! PS- The GHA DVD is in post production and should be sent out early October. Sorry for the wait but the producer is way behind on it.

George - 9/17/2007 (1:06:49 PM)
SWEET! I'm glad that Quinn is looking at changing the reunion, I'm pretty sure that this new date is good for me. Heather S., it has taken me about three years to get used to it, but I would not miss Seminary for the world. Heather Y. I got nine songs and wrote about all of them, but I talked about two in the same paragraph. We got lucky in his class, he's canceling one of our essays (the personal narrative):):):).

Heather Young - 9/17/2007 (8:31:04 PM)
Dang! I won't be able to go to the reunion if it's on that date either! My family is leaving for an Eastern Caribbean cruise that day so I'll be down in Florida getting ready to board. :( Sad. I'm going to miss seeing all of you!....Oh well, I guess I'll get used to it eventually. Maybe I'll see a bunch of you at school next fall if I end up goig to SUU. But holy cow George! You wrote about a ton of songs! How long was your paper? I only ended up writing about one song, but it had three different experiences tied to it. One of the three experiences was actually GHA :)

Michelle - 9/17/2007 (9:29:01 PM)
Hey guys! YAY!!!! I'm excited now cuz a) I can send off my ACT stuff and b) I can def. go I believe! lol (that's kinda an oxy-moron) Oh but Heather Y. CRUISES are a BLAST! I promise! If you've never been on one then you'll love it. I personally wouldn't know anything about seminary so good job to those who are? So what happened to Stuart? And what happened to the quotes - I kinda feel silly being the only one who quotes.....hahaha. "We only part to meet again." - John Gay.

Nick - 9/17/2007 (10:05:57 PM)
Word Michelle! Keep the quotes going! It's too bad though--I've got a huge two-day debate tournament on those exact dates for the reunion :{ It'll be a tough decision . . . GHA or debate . . . Napoleon Bonaparte

Nick - 9/17/2007 (10:07:07 PM)
Sorry that was weird--the page totally nixed my Napoleon quote for some reason-here it is: "Imagination rules the world."

Heather Young - 9/17/2007 (11:50:19 PM)
Hey good news! I can actually go to the first day of the reunion, just not the second because our flight leaves the first. But I'm ok with that. At least I'll get to see people. And yeah I know cruises are fun Michelle. This will actually be my sixth one because the company my parents are in go on one practically every year and we can get discounts so we go too. And I'm still excited for the cruise, I was just disappointed that I wouldn't be able to go to the reunion. But now I found out I can still go to part of it so I'm happy :) haha.

Brianne Mauhar - 9/18/2007 (11:46:01 AM)
Nick!! You have to go!! I hope almost everyone can come! I miss you all

Squirrel Clements - 9/19/2007 (1:13:22 PM)
No I have not disappeared off the face of the earth, although I haven't been on here in forever. I probably shouldn't be on here now, but I felt like it. I have a 315 page book to read and a 20 page explication to do on it by tomorrow. Plus, I have 21 classes that I'm taking and some clubs on top of that. I'm also the stage manager at my school, I have a job, and I am trying to finish writing, revising and perfecting my play. I agree that we need like thirty-hour days because I'm living off of a maximum of 3 hours of sleep a night. And I'm getting more involved. How can I ever keep track of everything without dying or going into a coma. I'm so tired I feel like I'm going to die of sleep depravation. Anyone got any suggestions? And my quote for today is "Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly until you can do it well." I'm going to go and work on my homework, and by the way, if I haven't said this before, my new email is kendiane@quickutah.com Hope to see all of you at the reunion if I don't die! I love you all! And I have officially decided that having a girlfriend doesn't help you manage your time either. Anyway, have fun everyone! :)

Heather Sundblom - 9/22/2007 (6:01:06 PM)
It makes me very excited that the reunion is changed! :D YAY! George, I'm glad that you are used to Early Morning Seminary. Michelle, seminary is really amazing! It's a wonderful experience. Heather, I'm glad you can come to part of the reunion!!! Nick, I think you should choose GHA, but if you choose debate, we'll still love you anyway. Stuart, you are crazy. I hope that you got your book done. 21? 21 classes!?!?! Wow! I wish you the best of luck, don't die! I want to see you at the reunion! My quote for today is "To accomplish great things, we must dream as well as act." -Anatole France

Skye Judd - 9/23/2007 (7:25:43 PM)
yeah guys. i did kinda fall off the side of the earth, but i'm back. I just got done with planning our homecoming and it was amazing. stressful but amazing. we won our homecoming came with only 28 seconds on the clock with the score being us:27 roy:28. it was the high light of my high school career. Nick i also have that debate tournament... Caesar Cicero? the best tournament there is in debate. good memories. well i have to decide but i really want to go to both.. does anyone know how to be in two spots at once?

Skye Judd - 9/23/2007 (7:29:14 PM)
oh ah! just wanted to tell everyone that i climbed Mt. Timp and at the of the mountain I saw ABE. it was a cool place to meet up, we took a picture to prove it. Abe, how did you like that tricky/icy way of getting down?

Skye Judd - 9/23/2007 (7:34:04 PM)
dang it.. i just read the blogs, and abe already told you about us meeting up at mt. timp... on well it was cool

Nick Bradford - 9/24/2007 (11:25:05 AM)
Hey Skye, good to see you on here! Yeah, I'm not sure about Caesar-Cicero yet--you're right though we should learn how to be in two places at once. I bet Stuart knows something about that . . . time-space continuum or something (but I won't bring that up again ;] )Hey Skye I think we have a cross-country race at Roy this Wednesday, right?--see you there! I agree with Stuart though, life is rough right now and time is not on my side. In the words of the distinguished CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow "The world's not smaller: there's just less in it."

Samantha Wallin - 9/24/2007 (12:12:05 PM)
So talking about highlights of our lives...well kinda...I watched fireworks for SUU's Homecoming with the greatest counselor EVER Lindsay Pace, Marc, Liz, and John!!! Pretty much amazing, and I bet you guys are all jealous. Haha jk. I heart all GHAers too. Here is my quote for the day,"I am a kind of paranoic in reverse. I suspect people of plotting to make me happy." -J.D. Salinger

Samantha Wallin - 9/24/2007 (12:16:02 PM)
Oh ya, Julie was in the Homecoming Royalty for her school and I totally saw her! I ran up to wave at her as she was being escorted during halftime and she looked at me like I was crazy...probably with good cause. But Julie, you looked gorgeous! :)

Natalie Hatch - 9/24/2007 (7:34:15 PM)
I totally feel for the busy life thing! Question: Are any of you going to the Shakespeare Competition in Cedar City next week? My teacher's been making us practice like crazy, but it's tons of fun. Here's my quote for the day; "Eagles may soar, but weasels never get sucked into jet turbines."

Yes I am going to go to Shakespeare competition, but I may not see you there. I am competing in the technical theater Olympics, but it would be awesome if I saw you there! Nick, I love the quote by Captain Jack Sparrow. Well, I have a lot to do right now, so I will talk to all of you later. I love you all! :D By the way, Natalie, I think that your quote should have weasels replaced with squirrels, but I guess it's an OK quote.

Dang Sam! I am jealous! Lucky! Haha. No but that really does sound like a lot of fun. I haven't seen hardly any of the counselors since GHA. I saw Sherstin at EFY and Cody at his reception. So that's way cool that you got to see those four. Anyway, Skye, I know what you mean by all the stress of Homecoming. I'm working on planning ours right now and as of right now it is pretty chaotic. I'm hoping everything turns out ok though. Well, I have to head to my soccer game so I will talk to you all later. :)

HEY WENDY!!! I totally miss you too! It has been so long since I have even been on this message board. I am way "out of the loop" with what eveyone is doing. And river rafting sounds good anytime! But it's starting to get a little chilly outside (already) so we need to do it soon. Or make plans for next summer. OR snowboarding sound good to anyone?

George - 9/26/2007 (4:27:11 PM)
Wow, you guys have Homecoming already? We don't have ours until basketball season (we don't have football).

Mike Munson - 9/26/2007 (8:23:48 PM)
Right on george! 1A rocks! Actually my school didn't even have homecoming last year but oh well. Who is all taking the ACT on Oct 27th in Cedar? Anyone? Well see ya there if you are later

George - 9/26/2007 (8:34:30 PM)
I'm taking the ACT on the 27th, but not in Cedar. Hopefully, I'll get to know how to use the calculator I bought for my Math 1050 class :p

So how have you all been?! I am sooo tired! I have had less than 4 hours of sleep since Monday! Anyway, I am so overwhelmed that I cannot even believe it. I have the craziest schedule ever! Anyway, I am still writing poetry so if you want to see some of my latest editions, check me out on poetrysoup.com or if you want me to, I can send you a copy of them. I'm still working on a book of quotes, so if you have more quotes that you want to post, please do! Anyway, I am ready for auditions of my show! That makes me happy. I don't know exactly when I will be able to have it performed, but I will keep you guys posted. Love you all! Squirrels are awesome!

Nick Bradford - 9/27/2007 (6:26:03 PM)
You're crazy Stu!!! Get some sleep before you fall over dead!!! Homecoming was awesome, school is busy, and I hope life will be pretty good this month for everybody. "Nothing is impossible to him who will but try." Alexander the Great

Heather Young - 9/27/2007 (9:17:34 PM)
Audrey, I am all for the whole snowboarding idea! I LOVE snowboarding! haha. And also, Mike and George, I'm sorry you guys don't have football. It's not my favorite sport by any means but it is way fun to cheer and go crazy at the games. Our Homecoming is in two weeks so I've been pretty busy trying to get that all planned....fun stuff haha. But Stu, I agree with Nick...Get some sleep! I thought my week was way busy, but I think you've got me beat :) Well I will talk to you all later.

Julie - 9/29/2007 (4:54:45 PM)
Samantha! I'm so glad I saw you at my homecoming game! That was super cool!

Pete Christensen - 9/29/2007 (7:27:17 PM)
Hey guys hope everything is going good for all of you. Life is doing good in little old Escalante. Today my brother and I hiked some slot canyons. I have some bad news I most likley will not be able to attend the reunion because I have a wrestling tournament that weekend. Here is a quote for you book Stuart. "A good friend will come and bail you out of jail, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying dang that was fun." John Wayne

George - 9/30/2007 (5:24:54 PM)
Hey everyone. I just got back from Cedar. I was visiting my sisters and went to Henry V. It was way awesome, I suggest that anyone that can go, do so (just bring coats, gloves, etc. It is in the Adams Theatre).

Michelle - 9/30/2007 (10:04:41 PM)
Hey guys, sorry I haven't said anything for a while. And I can't remember EVERYTHING that everyone has said - cuz it's just a bit random! lol But I don't have seminary cuz I'm not Mormon - but we used to have a Christian seminary. I liked it when we did. Anyway I def. plan on learning how to snowboard this year! Oh and I'm taking the Oct ACT but not down in Cedar. Our homecoming is this coming Friday we had Homecoming Ball last night. And speaking of Shakespeare (that's who right?) I'm reading a pretty good book (fiction) based on him and Anne Hathaway. Love you all! Hope you can all get to the reunion and if not no worries! (And for those who are talking about Shakespeare, here goes!) "My bounty is as boundless as the sea, my love as deep; the more I give to thee, the more I have, for both are infinite." - William Shakespeare.
