Quote of the Day
"Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them."
- William Shakespeare

Expectations for the day:

The first travel day is always one of my favorites. It seems the participants are still a little inside their shell, but after a day traveling on a bus together and hiking, it all changes. The walls come down and everyone creates a bond truely unique to GHA. It will be a whole new world at GHA starting Saturday! Bryce Canyon - here we come.
~Jared Wilcken, GHA Co-Director

GHA Comments of the Day:

How was the SUU Challenge Course?

  • I really enjoyed the challenge course. I think it was a perfect activity to do at GHA because we learned how to think outside of the box but also learned how to work together. ~Mckenzie S.

What was your favorite part of the day?

  • My favorite part of the day was either sitting by someone different every time we got on the bus, or jumping and swimming in Tropic Resevoir. It's fun to get to know lots of people; and even though the resevoir was really cold, it was way fun! ~ Becky W.

How are you doing with sleep? Are you getting any?

  • I AM SO TIRED!!! It't not like I'm staying up all night, but waking up at 5:30 isn't exactly what I'm used to! I did take a little nap on the bus though... ~Jessica R.
