2009 Usher Volunteer Form

We will be needing a large number of ushers for the 2009 Commencement. This is due to the increased interest in the Commencement speaker, Thomas S. Monson.

Before signing up to help usher, please know that there is no guarantee that you will have a seat or even be inside the centrum arena.

There will be a number of training meetings to help everyone be prepared for the event. You will be notified by e-mail of these meetings.

-Ushers may be placed on-campus directing traffic, at entrances to the Centrum, or inside the Centrum helping with seating.

-Ushers will need to be on-campus at 6:00 AM, May 2nd 2009 in the Welcome Center, and will be on-campus until 11 AM.

-A mandatory training meeting will take place on Thursday April 30, 2009. The meeting will be at 4 PM in the Starlight Room in the Sharwan Smith Student Center.

Note: You must come to the Welcome Center, before Friday April 24th to get a picture taken. You may come anytime between 8 AM and 5 PM. If you need directions, please call 586.7741.
