The nature of higher education has changed over the past decade. It has become more like a business than many ever imagined possible. Despite this shift, Student Services still tries to continue the tradition of challenging and supporting students as they learn and grow. Balancing this goal with the expectation that "the customer is always right" can be difficult, but the Student Services team strives to do this effectively and fairly.
To that end, it is important to provide a way for the work of the Student Services team to be acknowledged and recognized. The Student Services Excellence Award has been designed so that members of the University community can share with others the positive, supportive experiences they have had while interacting with members of the Student Services staff.
