Loading... Please wait...Refunds will be given if textbooks are returned during the first 4 days of fall and spring semesters between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm. Refunds will only be issued for books purchased in the current semester. No refunds or exchanges will be offered without original and valid receipt. New textbooks must be returned in new and original condition without writing, highlighting, soil, bent covers, or scuffs. Packaged textbooks or textbooks that include digital media must not be unwrapped. Digital media must be in original package or envelope with an unbroken seal.
Subject to authorization, refunds will be given up to the 14th day of fall or spring semesters if a class has been dropped or canceled. To petition authorization, a completed Exception Form, a copy of the new class schedule endorsed by a Registrar’s Office staff member, and an original, valid receipt must be presented. Exception forms are available online at www.suu.edu/bookstore.
Maymester returns are only offered for dropped or canceled courses during the first two days of the period, but require presentation of a valid Registration Drop Form. First session and second session textbook purchases are eligible for refunds during the first 2 days of the current session; and through the 4th day for dropped or canceled courses. For online courses and courses lasting 2 sessions, refunds will be given if textbooks are returned during the first 4 days of classes; and through the 6th day for dropped or canceled courses. Proper documentation and product condition as specified above still apply.
A cash refund will be given if merchandise is returned within 14 days of purchase with original receipt. Merchandise must be in original, unopened condition. Opened software, audio books, DVDs, CDs, music, and small electronics may not be returned, but may be exchanged for the same item if defective. Refund requests after
14 days of purchase must be authorized.
Textbooks may also be returned via postal or shipping carrier if postmarked by the 4th day of the semester for common returns or the 14th day of the semester for textbooks related to a dropped or canceled course. General merchandise must be postmarked by the 7th day after delivery or receive return authorization.
