Counseling and Psychological Services offers a 2-credit class each Fall and Spring Semester, which is listed under University Studies in the class schedule.

UNIV 1020:  Personal Development & Decision Making

This course is designed to allow college students to learn about and focus attention on important life tasks related to the young adult and adult life stages.  Students learn about theories of young adult development through a range of activities including lectures and personal application of course material.   The course focuses on the development of identity, self-awareness, and self-understanding as they serve as a basis for life planning and making important life decisions.  This class emphasizes student participation and classroom discussion.
