A resource for students, faculty and public lands agencies to be more easily informed about, apply and advertise internships and projects with the public lands in the Southern Utah region.

STUDENTS:

If you love being outdoors, or are looking for a unique and fulfilling opportunity to have a hands-on, behind-the-scenes, more intimate experience with the public lands in the southern Utah region, then an internship through the Intergovernmental Internship Cooperative (IIC) is for you.

• Streamlined process – apply through the IIC with a one page application
• All majors encouraged to apply
• Sciences  - Biology and related disciplines, Physical Sciences (Geology, Physics, Chemistry), Agriculture, Nutrition, Forensics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Medical
• Business – Accounting, Economics/Finance, Hotel, Resort & Hospitality Mgmt., Marketing
• Education – Elementary, Secondary, Outdoor Recreation, Physical Education
• Humanities & Social Sciences – Anthropology/Archeology, Communication, English, Foreign Languages, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology
• Performing and Visual Arts – Art, Dance, Design, Music, Theater Arts

All internships through the Intergovernmental Internship Cooperative (IIC) are in the southwestern region of Utah and nearby states. Public Lands Agencies that are currently participating include (but are not limited to):
