Student Job Expo

A Student Job Expo is held each year at the beginning of school.   This year(2008) the Student Job Expo will be held Thurs, August 21 from 1:00pm-4:00pm and Fri, August 22 from 11:00am-3:00pm.  At the Expo we will have listings for On Campus Work Study positions, On Campus Regular payroll positions and also Off Campus jobs.   A letter is sent at the beginning of August to all the Cedar City businesses encouraging them to contact the Career Services Center with their openings.

Students are encouraged to come to this Expo if they are going to be looking for part time employment while attending school.  We will also have some of the major employers from campus available along with some off campus employers.  After the Expo, the jobs are posted in the Career Services center, ST 101 and also on this website.

In order to be eligible to apply for the Work Study positions, you must complete a FASFA application through the Financial Aid Office and be awarded a Work Study award.  Check with Financial Aid for more information.

Please dress appropriately for this fair as you may be handing in applications and interviewing that same day.  Also, in order to be hired here at SUU,  you must complete an I-9 form which will require you to show proper identification. (i.e. original social security card OR original birth certificate OR passport).
