All tuition, fees, and institutional charges must be paid in full on, or prior to, the relevant payment deadline as noted below. Payment must be made using personal resources, approved financial aid*, a third party, and/or a satisfactory payment arrangement with the Cashier's Office, or any combination thereof.
Students who register after these deadlines are obligated to pay all associated charges before the close of business that same day.
When an account is not paid in full by the corresponding deadline, the student will be "dropped for non-payment." This means all classes will be dropped. Students whose schedule is cancelled will be allowed to re-register on a space available basis only. Reinstatement into one's original schedule may not be possible.
The Cashier's Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Financial arrangements for payment of all charges are the responsibility of the student. If you register after the payment deadline, you will be expected to pay all tuition, fees, and other charges at the time you register. SUU offers a payment plan for students desiring to pay their institutional charges in monthly installments. Please visit the cashier's website or call (435) 586-7720 for additional information.
A fee for late payment of balances due the University will be assessed in the amount of $35 per month as long as the balance remains unpaid. Late payment fees are not refundable. The University reserves the right to withhold registration, grades, transcripts, and diplomas for nonpayment of obligations to SUU.
The entire loan and/or grant application process must be completed to constitute "approved financial aid".
