Applying for Financial Aid, 2010-11
Every student who applies for Federal Financial Aid at Southern Utah University will be required to complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

For faster service complete online at www.fafsa.ed.gov using your Dept. of Ed PIN (for info on the PIN, see "Apply for a PIN" on the same web site). Please be sure to add the SUU school code (003678) when submitting your application. REMEMBER, the FAFSA is free. You should never pay money to fill out the FAFSA. - Student Information Form

Some students may be selected for verification by the Department of Education. If you are selected, we will contact you via letter or e-mail and let you know what other documents we may require. To expedite your financial aid award, SUU encourages you to select the link below for the appropriate verification worksheet (highlighted in red). Complete both sides of the worksheet and print it. Sign the worksheet. (Provide a signed copy of your and your parents or spouses 2009 Federal Tax form 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ or Telefile). Please do not complete and send in a verification worksheet if we have not requested that you do so.
If you had to use your parents income information on your FAFSA then you will need to complete the dependent verification worksheet. Otherwise, complete the independent verification worksheet. To complete either of these documents online follow the link below.
