Applying for Financial Aid, 2008-09
Every student who applies for Federal Financial Aid at Southern Utah University will be required to complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

For faster service complete online at www.fafsa.ed.gov using your Dept. of Ed PIN (for info on the PIN, see "Apply for a PIN" on the same web site). Please be sure to add the SUU school code (003678) when submitting your application. REMEMBER, the FAFSA is free. You should never pay money to fill out the FAFSA. - Information Release Authorization
To expedite your financial aid award, SUU encourages you to select the link below for the appropriate verification worksheet (highlighted in red). Complete both sides of the worksheet and print it. Sign the worksheet. (Provide a signed copy of your and your parents or spouses 2007 Federal Tax form 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ or Telefile).
If you had to use your parents income information on your FAFSA then you will need to complete the dependent verification worksheet. Otherwise, complete the independent verification worksheet. To complete either of these documents online follow the link below.

If you need aid for the Summer 2009 Semester, you need to fill out the Summer 2009 Financial Aid Request Form and bring it in to our office.
