SEOG

(Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants)

This is need-based money from the federal government that generally does not need to be repaid. It is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The amount offered is based on the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) in the same manner, but not amounts, as the Pell grant. It does not need to be repaid unless you do not complete the requirements for the semester. Repayment requirements will be determined by the Financial Aid Office. The SEOG grant generally requires full-time enrollment (twelve credits) but special consideration may be given on a case-by-case basis. Eligibility is determined by the US Department of Education by filling out the FAFSA.
