Private Scholarships
Some organizations offer educational funding which must be filtered through our office if you are receiving federal aid. Organizations that offer such funds may be (but are not limited to) the following: high school, church, employers (you or your parents), clubs to which you or your parents belong (Rotary, Elks, Daughters of the American Revolution, etc.), organizations for which you have done volunteer work, and possible future employers.
You may also seek private scholarships through web sites such as www.fastweb.com or www.scholarnet.net. DO NOT PAY FOR ASSISTANCE IN FINDING SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL AID. We can offer the same services for free through our office. Please contact the scholarship coordinator for additional information.

| Iron County Rotary Scholarship The Cedar City Rotary Club offers four $1,000 scholarships to qualifying students from Iron County Schools, who will be attending Southern Utah University. You may apply within twelve (12) months of attaining High School graduation credits and or acceptance to Southern Utah University. |

| SALLIE MAE FUND Available to students enrolled as undergraduate students at a Title IV eligible, approved, accredited, postsecondary, two- or four-year college or university, and meeting program-specific eligibility requirements. |

| American Chemical Society Scholars Program Available to students who have a strong interest in chemistry and desire to pursue a career in a chemically related science. There are 100 new awards available at $2500 to $5000 each. |

| John L. Carey Scholarships Available to students majoring in accounting, finance, or information systems. Must keep a minimum 3.0 GPA. Five scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each. |

| GW Childhood Cancer Survivor College Scholarship Program The Great West Division of the American Cancer Society has established a scholarship program to give young cancer survivors the opportunity to pursue their post-secondary education from an accredited university, community college or vocational technical school.
