
If you received an automatically generated email from the MyHousing system indicating someone had requested you as a roommate, you can either accept the request or ignore it.

If you do not want to accept the roommate request from an individual, simply ignore the request. The individual may send you an automatically generated email reminder ocassionally. You may also ignore the request reminders.
In order to request a roommate, you must have applied for housing. Once you have submitted an application, you may submit roommate requests until June 1 for fall semester. Please note that in order to request an individual as a roommate, the individual you request must also have already applied for housing. If the individual you want to request has not yet applied, encourage them to do so before initiating the roommate request process. To submit a request:

Room and roommate assignments will be available via your MyHousing account beginning June 10 for fall semester. Remember that you must submit an Advance Rent Payment of $300 by July 1 in order to reserve the assignment.
