Moving boxes are being continually stocked on the first floor of Juniper's main lobby.
Residents are encouraged to help each other move. University volunteers will also be available to assist on Saturday.
Students are encouraged to explore the options found on the University's Off-Campus Housing Finder and attend the Off-Campus Housing Fair held Tuesday, November 1 from 2 to 4 pm in Eccles Living Learning Center Conference Room. The University is committed to helping each resident find a place to live and will continue its efforts until all residents are housed.
The University will make every effort to maintain roommate assignments and floor grouping when relocating students off campus. Roommates can increase their probability of staying together by requesting release from their housing agreements and independently finding a place together off campus.
The University hopes to relocate students off-campus Student Housing and other nearby locations as space is available. The University will continue exploring other housing options until all students are housed.
Where possible, University Housing will assign Resident Assistants.
Students who are released from their Housing Agreement will receive a prorated refund of the Juniper Hall rent. Students and their friends who voluntarily overcrowd on campus will receive a prorated discount of 25% off their fall semester room rate and have the option to continue in the spring.
Students who relocate on campus will continue to pay the Juniper room rate.
Yes. Academic Affairs has announced that all Honors Housing Scholarship recipients will receive the Spring award regardless of the relocation option they choose. The spring award will be posted to student accounts in the 2nd week of December.
