The Multicultural Center sponsors, coordinates, and assists ethnic students clubs and organizations in the promotion of cultural, recreational, and educational events. The following is a listing of clubs and organizations: 

Native American Student Association (NASA) 
Advisor: Tina Calamity

The purpose of Native American Student Association is to maintain and preserve cultural values and promote Native American cultural awareness by providing information concerning events and activities.

Polynesian Club
Advisors: Lynne Brown & Vince Tauanuu

The SUU Polynesian Club's mission:

  • Unite as friends and as a support system for the success of all Polynesian students.
  • Strengthen and preserve our heritage and culture.
  • Create a learning environment by sharing our heritage and culture with SUU and Cedar City communities.
  • Participate in the larger community through service.

International Student Association
Advisor:

Enrich the campus community by learning from the cultural wealth of other nations. Build and preserve friendships with people from all kinds of social and cultural backgrounds. Expand our knowledge about traditions, customs, languages and beliefs in a way that allows us to become more complete individuals. 

Hispanic Club
Advisor:

Our purpose is to promote and enrich our university community by drawing on the variety of cultural experiences of our Hispanic students.  We will foster friendships with fellow students of diverse cultural backgrounds in order to expand our knowledge and appreciation of the traditions, customs, beliefs, and language of Hispanic cultures.  We will cultivate pride of the Hispanic hertiage to create a stronger sense of identity for the generations to come.

Black Student Alliance
Advisor: Lynne Brown

The BSA is a club that is open to everyone who is interested in African-American culture. This club is dedicated to improving student relations, offering community service and promoting an awareness and appreciation of culture and diversity.

Asian Club
