UNIV 1020 Career Decisions

A course designed to assist student in improving their decision-making skills and in making a tentative occupation choice based on knowledge of themselves and the world of work. (2 Credits)

UNIV 1000 First Year Seminar

The First Year Seminar connects students with faculty, staff, and other students and the university community. This First Year Seminar is designed to help launch students' university careers successfully and to equip students with the tools and abilities that will increase their career and academic skills. Students will also participate in civic engagement activities and attend convocations. Co-requisite: LM 1010. (1 credit)

UNIV 1510 College Connections

This course provides new students with an extended orientation to the academic expectations and demands of higher education. The course focuses on English and Math preparation and student success through systematic exploration of values and skills that will assist them in becoming successful in their academic endeavors. Admissions requirement for new students with index scores 79 or below. (3 credits)
