Favorite thing about SUU: The size. I'm from a small town and to me SUU is pretty big, but not too big that I find myself lost. I see people I know everyday across campus, and yet I am constantly meeting new people as well. SUU is not too big, not too small - just right.

Biggest freshman mistake: SLEEP. I found it necessary to stay up all night every night with my friends hanging out when we had class merely hours away. Staying up wiped out my energy completely and took a toll on my grades. Have fun and hang out with your friends, but in college, sleep is your best friend.

Piece of Advice: Get involved in any way that you can. Join clubs, attend campus events, and put yourself out there. You are not going to meet lots of people and have the best college experience if you coop yourself up in your room at all times. I became involved, and I met the most amazing people I would have missed had I never taken a chance. Getting involved helps you meet more people, create deeper bonds with others, and have the best memories of your life.
