One of the most important aspects of your education opportunity
at SUU will be the experience you gain through extracurricular activities. The
Student Involvement & Leadership Office, located in the Sharwan Smith Center, is dedicated
to the premise that academics and activities go hand in hand and is the central

Opportunities for participation range from being a volunteer
to serving on a committee or council. Get involved in Intramural Sports, Open
Recreation, the Student Body Fitness Center, Acclamation, (our SUU show choir),
or any of the other groups representing SUU. Participate and be part of the
Student Association that represents the entire student body. Become involved
in one of more than 50 clubs and organizations on campus. In these settings,
you learn leadership skills and have a practical oppurtunity to us those skills.
