Political Activities

The Sharwan Smith Center (management) acknowledges that some student organizations engage in political activities which affect both the campus and the larger community. The Center (management) also recognizes our responsibility to respond to space use requests from the groups (organizations) for political purposes. Political activities must not obstruct the free flow of traffic or infringe upon the rights of others. Student groups (organizations) desiring to hold a rally or demonstration must obtain a permit from the Director of Activities to schedule the time, place and manner of the event.
