Policies & Procedures

Violation of Center Policy

The following policies pertain to the violation of Center policies:

• In most cases the violators will be given a verbal or written request by a member of the Sharwan Smith Center staff for immediate and future compliance.
• If the person(s) or group does not comply, or the violation is severe and damaging to persons and property, immediate and/or future limitations or denial of use of all or any facilities or services may be imposed either on a temporary or permanent basis by the Center's Director of Student Activities, or designee
• Persons not observing the policies may be assessed charges or costs for damages from usage of facilities beyond normal wear and tear.
• Groups or persons wishing to appeal penalties will be referred to the Sharwan Smith Center Advisory Board.
• Students of Southern Utah University that violate these policies may be referred to the Student Disciplinary Board.
